Racing starts with a mares maiden hurdle that would grace any card. Will probably go down as one of the best races ever run in Wexford. It concerns three maybe four horses.
Toe The Line will probably be the best of them, this Shantou mare has a flat rating of 102,it is however her debut over hurdles Forge Meadow is by Beneficial and trained by Jessica Harrington, another debutant over hurdles. Her Fairyhouse bumper win was full of promise, her second to Augusta Kate even more. Bargy Lady seemed to get away from them in Listowel winning by a whopping 15 lengths, was given a poor ride behind Morgan in Cork Lettre De Cachet is trained by the in form Noel Meade but is well exposed,a long way behind Toe The Line on the flat but she has plenty of experience.
Wexford is now a stiff course, you need to get every yard of it.
A very nice card for Wexford. I thought Toe the Line was going as well as Forgotten Rules at one stage at the Curragh, decent horses in that race and she brings high class flat form here. Agree with your race summary, i don't like Lettre de Cachet much, hard to evaluate Forge Meadow in particular though she could be very good and probably fit enough. Only worry will they be happy to get her around safely first go over obstacles?
Sutton Manor might well win but 4/6-4/5 is poor enough odds, Mullins one could get in anyway.
No surprise to see Logical Song gone blue, won very well last time.
Mares beginners is another good race,Keppols Queen is proven though Slowmotions last race form reads well, hard call.
The Informer is another one gone blue and no surprise with the weight turnaround against the 2 in front last time and the extra few furlongs, it passed around 10 after jumping the last in Galway.
Think the bad forecast down there is due to ease off in the morning.

Never back a horse first time over hurdles!! Obviously a reason Toe The Line hasn't jumped a hurdle up to now. She probably can't.
As for Sloemotion, JOB horses take about 5 runs over hurdles to jump adequately so def won't be going near her tomorrow.

Ex high class flat horses more often than not flatter to deceive when sent hurdling, The only thing different about toe the line is she's not flat bred as such.
I was under the impression Alan and Ann Potts had boycotted the Irish scene altogether, clearly not.

What a brutal ride from Townend. On an out and out stayer and he does that?? He should be flogged. She jumped super apart from the last but why even take the chance.

He took a pull to get her inside on the home turn, even going around she was going forward, fair enough he was level at the last but relied on a good jump, cruel on backers.

Spot on BWS,it was set up for Daisy's after a sillypace.
That bend turning in still isn't right, not sure can they do anything about it but seems very unnatural.

Yes its confusing last bend, some horses sense the stables area also on the turn in .. Had a winning day 7/1 winner and 25/1 ew 3rd ,no real buzz at track anymore though, not many there Bad Marketing etc no concession tickets €15 entry is too much imo..
