Friends of my sons have just purchased their first house . Having secured the highest bid they felt confident they had bought the house , alas the Auctioneers had other ideas , it started with them suggesting that if the couple could come up with a extra 10,000 Euro the house was theirs, after a few weeks it dropped to 5,000 extra, finally they dropped it to a amazingly low 500e.Thankfully the couple resisted and received the keys last Friday without paying anything extra. What a shower some Auctioneers are.

Possibly the auctioneer was friendly with one or two of the neighbours to be, and it may well have been an attempt to keep out some undesirables.

I do as it happens insideinfo, something wrong with a council house is there ?
Wonkys pals were clearly trying to get into a halting site, and the neighbours werent keen to leave them in for fear of lowering the tone.
