Suggest you stick to The Express & The Beano. |

Are you sure you do Ozy, the people are reclaming their lives from the left wing liberals ,and it ain't stopping there mate . The peoples march has began and years of been told how to behave and think by a bunch of nut jobs who want to give away peoples Countries is over. Up the REVOLUTION....
By:
Indeed Wonks (what abut the right wing liberals btw?), in this internet boundary-free age it makes perfect sense to withdraw and retreat back into the protective bosom of the Nation state.
I can swop you 3 sods of turf for a half of a fish and bugger the global elites. |

Perhaps we should also segregate Betfair and just bet and lay against fellow Irish punters (+ Scouse Tony, obviously)

Ozy, a serious upward swing to the right in Europe ,with the Italians due to vote shortly and France in the spring , I can see Europe collapsing in the next 2/3 yrs .The revolution has started and there's no turning back.
By:
Let's assume that you are correct Wonks (and I am no fan of the EU or the Euro on the whole) and we are on the brink of an Armageddon like un-ravelling of the currency Union and a retreat to an insular age of nationalistic trade tarifs, my question for you is......
How do you expect this to impact on your life and also Ireland in general? |
By:
There will be changes of course ,the Italians want to return to the lira for example, a diluted Europe will face many changes, but business been business will find a way , Brexit according to you and the bould DJ was supposed to have seen the collapse of business and massive unemployment ,what has actually happened is employment has never been higher and the FTSE is continuing to rise ,so the Armageddon ye predicted has failed to materialise , we'll worry about it when it happens .

F**k me.
I don't know where to stat with that post so I won't bother. I should have known better than to ask you a sensible question. |

Brexit has not happened yet, so Ozy's vision can't have come true, you are showing you're not able to follow anything you're being told.
By:
Untrue, the Remainers said it would happen immediately.
Even they are admitting they got it wrong. |
By:
We are a stones throw down the road from the Brexit decision. .....and no where near knowing exactly what it involves......give the fallout time
The Bank of England have made an enormous effort to cushion the immediate impact of Brexit through QE and cutting interest rates but have almost exhausted their arsenal. Despite their commendable efforts if you dig down through the headline economic numbers the warning signs of gathering doom are there. The longer the overall fundamental uncertainty persists, the longer essential business investment will be deferred (perhaps even avoided entirely dependent upon what Brexit actually looks like)...this lack of activity takes time to translate to the bottom line. The only thing Trump is pro is himself. |
By:
You are talking about Ozy though, he has never said any such thing, try to keep up Wildman.
By:
He most certainly did,he blamed the fall of sterling on Brexit ( no mention then of it not occurring yet )
You can't have it both ways. The fall of sterling another great example of Ozymandius getting stuck,he's told it's a bad thing so that's it can never get that there are upsides to a weak currency. |
By:
Ozy, even you know that you said it would happen immediately, but like a good Liberal you ducked the issue when reality kicked in.Maybe like those school kids you need counselling . Liberals and reality now that would be something...
