have the lads learned nothing from galileo, oratorio, g washington, gleneagles and others.............running turf champions on dirt.........and this year against arrogate and c chrome, two outstanding champions.................if they want to run h reel in the turf thats fine but surely found could target the Japan Cup and/or hong kong...........these races would be at her mercy...........if she runs in the classic, she will be stuffed.
the only success they have had on dirt were giants causeway and jburg who were both bred for the dirt...............

Henrythenavigator went close in the Classic when he was beaten by John Gosdens Ravens Pass, the U.S top horse Curlin was well beaten in the race, i know were your comeing from Braindead but its a race they would love to win, i dont think they will run Found in the Classic but you never know.

Henrythenavigator never ran on dirt and there were slightly more American elements to his pedigree with the Mr Prospector line than the Galileo influenced line. There is nothing on the dam side which offers much encouragement for Found either, but they have little to lose at this stage.

Henry's race was on synthetic which was like turf though. No chance Found will go in the Classic for me, they do it with the colts as they could charge a multiple of the stallion fee if they win. found can only have one foal per year, they won't risk her and they shouldn't.

they ran a turf miler over 10f last year on dirt against a triple crown winner and he came dead last.......tailed off............if they stopped this years ago, mr o'brien would have several more breeder cup wins to his name. its just so stupid...........i would not mind if the race has cut up badly but arrogate broke the track record at saratoga and mr chrome looks like a machine this year.

Won't do it with a filly, she'll win the turf.

They'll want one of their colts to be the first to do it anyway, was a silly entry.

found is 11/2 with PP for turf..........H reel 15/8...............says it all. she wont be running in the turf.

I'd be astonished if she runs in the Classic myself, more likely she'd be retire. She's a better class of horse than that Tepin or Limato, maybe they should try the mile!

They are campaigning their horses more aggressively this year. Could the reason be the major event that will take place shortly referred to in another thread as the biggest event for 30 years at Coolmore

Had a look at oddschecker and the betting would indecate that Found will run in the Classic, 11/2 with PP to win the Turf would be a great bet.you could be right about the retireing bit Neill.

It was mentioned in an earlier thread and I guess that was what they were referring to but I don't know.

I have not noticed John Magnier in the winners enclosure after the recent run of group ones, only see Tabor and Smith.

O Brien is a regular reader of the forum, he is constantly taking note of what wonky is spouting about.
He's one of the best paddock judges in the game, and Aidan specialises in dealing with the top people.
