Eamonn is not paid to talk sense.  His job is to disagree with people who do. Cool
Report neill d October 22, 2016 6:57 PM BST
Even in his declining years, he may still be the best player in the world for most of the.

Ronaldo has lost the majority of his space, but is still the most lethal predator in the game and probably the strongest player around physically.

Messi will end up playing where Iniesta is now. Physically midfield will be okay for him as Barcelona always own the ball.

most of them*
Report brain dead jockeys October 22, 2016 7:33 PM BST
the holy grail for messi is 400 la liga goals and 100 champs league goals....latter is a formalilty, former will probably happen
Report neill d October 22, 2016 7:35 PM BST
He'll go on at a high level till he's 37 or 38 I'd say. They'll pump him full of gear to help him along, he's in the right spot for that.
Report kavvie October 22, 2016 10:41 PM BST
dunphy famously told us platini  ronaldo henry were not the real deal at various times..now he says messi is in decline and he proceed to score 5 in 2 games against the not easy teams of man city and valencia..
Report pa lapsy October 22, 2016 10:48 PM BST
Dunphy is some langball, no offence to dubs but he would be rightly lambasted anywhere else in the Island and glugged on the back, rte pay him and also donal skehan(for making a ham sandwich)
Report brain dead jockeys October 22, 2016 10:49 PM BST
i remember his comments about platini..........it was so stupid.........his performances in two world cups, euro 1984 (he was unreal) and with juve makes him one of the greatest players ever...............just behind ole gunner!!!!!!!!!!!!
Report kincsem October 23, 2016 11:26 AM BST
"That boy can't play" iirc Dunphy on Maradona.

More money thrown away by the Montrose wasterals. Time to take away the Licence fee

Saw that  skehan waster on the box Pa - goin around the country scabbing recipes from old folk while sponsored  by rte

Where did he pop out of?

I haven't a clue tbh Elvisssss, me buddy said he got a slap off the bas of a hurley without wearing a helmet and thats the reason for the "hairstyle",it only grows like that since.

Possible boyband failure but read the elementary abc of cookery and chanced his arm, betcha he can't believe his luck.

Cheap, cheap telly, one camera and an oven.

Corkie Rachel Allen is another beaut, she'd be on there about a pinch of tumeric and ban maries,on a recent census it was found only 0.5% have the ould tumeric in the cupboard and they are mostly in Dublin 4, sales of these unusual ingredients "spike" after a programme but will be found in said cupboards years later.
She goes on about the "lemon grass" as well and another few things which i've thankfully forgotten about.

Everyone just goes to maccy d's anyway.

I feel a bit funny talking about cookery Elvisssss and wouldn't with many on this forum ecept yourself and maybe 1 or 2 others.

joe duffy on 350k for that phone in show...........now thats a joke
Report neill d October 24, 2016 10:23 PM BST
Its strange alright that Duffy can extract that money, I don't think he would get it anywhere else. I've heard a few things about his background that I wouldn't like a bit of. Wouldn't be a fan.

D'Arcy was supposed to be a huge draw that had his salary covered by advertising, I haven't seen any figures but the media consensus seemed to be that it was true. I still think Pat Kenny is probably the best current affairs presenter in Ireland and would have him back. I used to find his celebrity interviews great viewing as well,  reckon Pat might be on some kind of spectrum when it comes to light entertainment, like it doesn't quite register with him! Tubridy is far too knowing...

I've an irrational dislike of Michael D. Higgins as well, probably because the c+nt never fixed me an internship in Brussels like he did for everyone else! Thinks he's some kind of mix of **** & Noam Chomsky!

Come to think of it, I can't think of anyone I like. My favourite quote from last Sunday's paper was Nuala Carey saying she couldn't handle drink because she is so slight. Delusional.
Report neill d October 24, 2016 10:23 PM BST
I'd give her one obviously, though.

In fairness to Rachel Allen pa, she was so good at the ham 'n cheese sandwich that o briens signed her up

And everything is yuummy with her - after mixing it up with a pound of butter and a pint of cream

No wonder folk are getting so fat - well done rte Crazy

And then they make them to lose it on operation transformation

mrs allen has opened up a big restaurant..........nothing more risky than opening up a restaurant. i wonder what the success rate is...........10%?
Report Arklearkle October 25, 2016 11:14 AM BST
Restaurants have the highest business failure rate. Its nothing to do with the business as such more to do with the headbangers with no business sense who start them up
Report workrider October 25, 2016 11:23 AM BST
Will the Da be kept in the background I wonder...

Gone into a big money "empire" down that way WR,feck all down there if no car but plenty in the surroundings.

The mark up on a cup of tea never ceases to amaze me,5c a tea bag? that will be e1.50+, nice one.
Good ingredients and a fair mark up is acceptable but 2 slices of bread and the filling is 3e+ for a sanger, it hardly is work intensive and the rent and rates aren't your fault.

Elvissss tis so patronising at times, "winning streak" is the kiddie there, sometimes i wonder was it all a big conspiracy with the publicans in cahoots with rte to get people to say feck this,i'm going for a pint, the internet put the kiboosh on that though.
It might of been just for a big laugh.

I know saorview has at least 3 ITV clone types, tis a terrible thing altogether that rte are copying the likes of the "X Factor",(the celebrity jungle thing is too epensive as there own lads need their foreign hols at the licence payers expense).
This kinda **** has people saying "amazing" a lot, (used to be "happy days" and more irritately 150%.
In that regards comparing it with UKS ITV isn't bad, (their flagship BBC has gone bedamned with the luvvies, apologists, and womens sports, they can't even get the weather forecast right)

She is in a Rachel kind of a bubble alright, twas all Celtic Tiger stuff, the new Ireland is still putting the bit of butter on the spuds but no harm with a bit, most aren't in her position to shovel it on either,

Not if I got it for nothing .

Wouldn't a euro be a fair price? You wouldn't mind getting two.
Tea-bag,polystrene cup, electricity for water, the cost of the basic ingredients is probably around 8c before staff and premises costs are added, they deserve fookall really, people should bring in a flask.
Report mincer11 October 25, 2016 10:23 PM BST
He's cribbing about 2 euro for a cup of tea and then goes out and throws away a few hundred to the bookies
Suppose he doesn't care, the state are paying.

Welcome back Mincer, it is a fair point though, one of the biggest ripoffs today is the cup of tea. they should wear a mask, betting bobs albeit small aside its a fair point, tis a shafter.
