Should have laid ADO!
You really can't trust his horses to run their races unless it is in Chelthenham. Elliott and Mullins horses run their races 90% of the time but Morris horses continually disappoint. Look at the fav in Gowrsn yesterday. Beaten halfway around!

I must agree with you wholeheartedly, and as far as I can see he is only capable of getting his horses ready for one race per year. His horses are a law unto themselves for the remainder of the year. To me he is a bang average operator and I know he has won big races but I'd imagine many trainers would do likewise if they were allowed drag their feet for 11 months of the year. Gigginstown seem to place a lot of faith in him but that's hardly a measure of excellence .

ADO is hardly banker material no matter what time of the year it is. True, Morris probably didn't have him 100% but taking a short price about a dodge pot like him is mad. Especially when the winner had been going well lately.

Thinking on him now, ADO could end up in one of the handicaps for Cheltenham if Gigginstown maybe wave their principles a little. Could probably end up with a nice 140s mark without ever looking like he had been stopped. Long-term could even be a Grand National horse. Don't think he's a Gold Cup horse so it's the route I'd go.
