Am getting into it.  Must be the hardest mainstream workout ever.  Brutal at times but hugely effective.  This morning's WOD (workout of the day) was a beast.

Just the thing for you Wonks.  Reignite your testosterone production and reap the anti-ageing effects.

Just football two nights a week and jogging/running the rest of the time here. Would be interested in this as the running has kind of plateaued unless I put a serious amount more time into it.

Half Marathon time is very respectable but reckon there would be an injury if I went any further with it. Messed around with training for Dublin Marathon this year. But I would get injured going that far. Wouldn't mind trying cross fit.

crossfit is for wuss's,they use light weight, high reps and crap form and usually slam the weights down like tools as well.also see half the dicks training with their tops off ffs they need to take a redener Blush you are much more likely to get injured than get strong doing crossfit.im sure if ozy wasnt a fat mess in a wheel chair crossfit would be the training for him.

check out - exercises in futility, injuries from the washed up loser olympics on youtube, sums it up well lol

Today's workout, for example, didn't involve any weights at all. Other than body weight in various functional movements.  Probably more accurate to describe it more as Hiit/Functional Training actually, with certain CrossFit elements built in.

I see nothing wrong with a high number of reps, the goal is not to bulk after all.

agreed on the calisthetics frank, im a big fan of bodyweight exercises.though "kipping" pullups and other crossfit rubbish certainly wouldnt fit in this bracket.
