All going well this will be its THIRD time on the trot to be ODDS ON. Doubt it has come under the microscope before , not a odds on backer myself , a note of caution, having been at Catterick a few weeks ago and noticing how sharp a track it is I'd be a little worried it mightn't suit .Looking at its run @ Ling I just have a feeling this track could find it out...All the best with your bet...

The fact she was handyish around Lingfield (which is by far the sharpest of the AW tracks) would make you hope that she should be fine around Catt (for all I don't watch that track much, I don't have RUK.)
She looks a nice horse in the making and one I'll want onside until she is beaten as well. Looking at the list of trainerss in the race, she'd be a different quality of calibre maybe, a 90ish kind of a horse topping out. |

up 10lbs for winning by 3 1/2 lengths at 1/14 seems a bit harsh?
By:
tho i get the point about the jockey being worth 5/6 lbs..

Beaten by a 16/1 shot. Jardine stable has been winning with outsiders a lot this year

weight stops them..when it didnt shorten it was a worry..

So the tight track was against it even though it travelled like a dream, got into the perfect position and hit the front going well at the furlong marker, before finding less than expected?
By:
The question is did it WIN ?
By:
Yes you called the result right - Sometimes we get the right result despite the reasoning being wrong.
By:
According to the formbook , the WINNER found trouble in running so how far would IT have won with a clear run . The socalled goodthing was in reality , NOT a goodthing ..He got the price AND the result wrong . As most punters know backing odds on shots is a sure route to the poorhouse...

I think the poster and the name of the horse clearly spoke volumes.

Legia to beat Dundalk tomorrow night, levels or bits on our against with most books, 2.16 here.
By:
Evens looks big there to me as well Rock Piper.
By:
Will be like a home game for them ,more Poles at it than Irish I'd wager...

Legia to win 2-0 10/1 here looks a very good bet, i saw them hammer St pats 2years ago they went to do the same in the next round to Celtic only to be throw out for playing a sub who wasn,t properly registered, for Dundalk and league of Ireland football i hope im wrong. 2,22 for Legia to win as a saver looks the way to go.

just reading all about it in todays mail..really hope they can do it for irish football, imagine them getting enough many to buy a new 10k seater stadium?

Tony there a couple of foremites who would remember Deyna who played for Legia and Poland in the70s and 80s a great footballer, if my memory serves he played in League of Ireland football for a short while, he was killed in a car crash in the US when he was still a young man, There was a famous question many moons ago ; Which l.o.ireland player had the most caps? the answer was Denya amost a 100 for Poland.

Legia traded as big as 2.3 this afternoon took my eye off the ball there, 1.96 now.
I read earlier that in excess of 32K tickets sold, Legia sold 750 from an allocation of 2000. |

Nice touch Frank, never like to play in the scoreline markets myself except the odd "to win to nil." Same with first goalscorer. Things like teams coasting and conceding late or Messi tapping the penalty to Suarez would drive me crazy so I don't take part.
Can be long losing runs involved as well I imagine and that is a part of betting psychology I feel I will never master. |

Another was Bobby Tambling, Godfather to one of my nephews . Well done Frank top tipping , the coffers are full .

@ Frank60 as you probably know, most if not all of those names appeared rather than played in the LOI, making one or two appearances after they retired. Dixie Dean played half a season with us and only just failed to pick up a medal the year of the 1939 Sacky Glen final, and speaking of FAI cup finals, the Shamrock Rovers team that stole the 1978 Carpenter final from us, included Johnny Giles, Ray Tracey, and Eamon Dunphy. Steve Lynex who went onto better things at Leicester and LOI veteran and former Irish international Johnny Fulham also played. Lynex went down in the box in the 49th minute of a first half that had no stoppages, funnily enough he had no player within a yard of him either, the resultant peno was the only score of the game.
I went for 0-3 for small money in the correct score, but was happy with what I took out from the outright, Legia were as big as 2.3 yesterday afternoon (who were those layers and will they please come back) and were 1.76 at K.O. |

2.22 was what i got Rock,

I remember Steve Lynex Rock, played as a winger if memory serves me, Johney Fullam passed away last year a great servant to the hoops,
