We've done it before and can do it again,we only need one miracle.

Our hurling team is the best around and should win.

Our football team are improving by the match.
Mayo were unimpressive against Tyrone and are very beatable.
Here's where we need the miracle, the final will be against Kerry or Dublin two vastly superior sides.
Tipp could go on improving.
After a hard fought semi final complacency could set in for Kerry or Dublin.

Agree completely re the hurlers. Kilkenny are nothing special and haven't been for a while. Tipp should have beaten them in 14' even. The more physical players Tipp have brought in for Woodlock and McGrath have made a huge difference. Tipp have the two best forwards in the country as well.

They will win this All Ireland and pretty easily as well. By far the best team.

What a marvelous game today.A real treat for lovers of the great game.

Tipp will fancy it for sure, they have speed skill and the ability to get goals, as long as they bring the intensity.

Galway will beat Tipp handy in the hurling
Report peckerdunne August 7, 2016 6:19 PM BST
Really, and you have a spread available.
Report Mr Mischief August 7, 2016 6:27 PM BST
They played them off the park last year and Tipp had to rely on Callinan having the game of his life just to keep them in it. Galway have shored up at the back considerably and Callinanan will never have a game like that again. I'd be surprised if Tipp can keep it to within 6

Well fair play, that's a bold statement. They died pretty quick against Kilkenny.Waterford gave them a right scare today.Tipp have seen off Waterford more than once this year. All of which means little, a bit like last season.
So would you go Tipp 1/1 plus 4.I guess not.
Anyway, we shall see.

Tipp played way below themselves in that semi last year. It's a class thing. The three Mahers, the two McGraths, Callanane and O'Dwyer would start on any team in the country. They now have a trainer who has compensated for what they didn't have last year (physical strength and ball winners).

What Galway did against Clare just won't be enough. Too many of their forwards are too in and out (although they have huge ability when on song).

I think the winner of Tipp and Galway win the thing, Waterford and kilkenny was a competitive game, but both teams lack a goal threat. This is a middling Kilkenny team.

Tipp and dublin looks the likely scenario, Wildman when did Tipp do the double?
Report wildmanfromborneo August 7, 2016 10:06 PM BST
Even before I was born.

I know they twice did the double,I think it was around the same time I was winning the Aintree Grand National.

There was always a fear around here that Offaly could manage it although when they had hurlers they had no footballers.
Having said that I've always had a gra for Offaly hurling and doubt anything could surpass the last twenty minutes of the 1994 Hurling Final.

Dublin B would win the football all Ireland.

Complacency isn't a possibility, Gavin has them KK like (in their prime) psychologically, fighting for places etc.

On them all year even though I am a culchie, 8/11 is value.

Looking up the records Wildman Tipp won the all ireland football 4times ;the last in 1920, My father god rest him was just 3years old.

That Dublin team is an ATG team, lost their full back and the footballer of the year wing back and nobody would notice.

I wouldn't bet against Dublin B either, they're huge athletes, the pace and composure of Mannion's goal, Donegal had nobody like that. I think Peadar Andrews would be the star forward nearly anywhere else, the guy carries water for them, same with kilkenny. They're very very good.

Ye boys are dreaming.  The Dublin B team would win the All Ireland?

Their A team wont even win it!They played a brutal Donegal side who didnt want to know.  They have lost their two best Defenders with their third best injured.  They have one decent midfielder who has a broken jaw since Saturday.  They have Rock who isnt worth a sausage and crumbles in big games.  Flynn isnt a half the footballer he was 3 years ago.  Brogan has regressed.  P Andrews is a ordinary player and looks great coming on when they are 6 or 7 points up. To add to all this they have McMemmimen starting.  This fella wasnt good enough to start 3 years ago and he aint good enough now.
Connolly is a class act.  Dublin have about 17 players and the myth that they have a great bench is just that.

The 'KK Double' (KY 9/2 & KK 6/5) with Laddies pays just over 11/1.
Report frank60 August 8, 2016 12:54 PM BST
If you right Bigwilly Dublin must be the worst 4/6 shot ever/
Report neill d August 8, 2016 1:20 PM BST
Whatever about the B team stuff, there is no team in it with the blend of athleticism and skill to keep with them and that is the beginning, middle and end of it.

There are only three players left in the competition with the ability to put a dent in this Dublin team. Geaney, O'Donoghue and O'Shea.

Kerry haven't the pace and athleticism to supply their top forwards and O'Shea is surrounded by the same players who will revert to type when the pressure is on.

So what have they to beat, a geriatric (in terms of pace and movement) Kerry, Donaghy in midfield, Bryan Sheehan? ffs and a Mayo team that shat themselves once again yesterday only to find Tyrone did the same thing.

The problem the GAA is going to have is that the Dubs have finally organised themselves, the coaching structures they have are going to make the weight of numbers tell.

The overall standard of the hurling last 4 is much higher.

Mayo are the team that consistently cause Dublin problems.  They love playing against them and have a very good record over the past 10-15 years.  Dublin are a good bit weaker than last year with the loss of the players mentioned above.  They dont have the personnel to replace these no matter what is said in the media.

Neil Mayo dont **** themselves in Q/f's or Semi finals as you mention above.  I love their profile this year.  They started 5 weeks behind other teams and are only reaching full fitness now.  They have a gimme against Tipp which they can scramble through by 4 or 5 points.

In previous years Mayo have peaked in Q/F and Semi's beating the likes of Dublin, Donegal etc.  Whether by luck or otherwise Rochford has the perfect scenario this year.  They will be peaking in the final and i really fancy them.  Am on at 8's and 9's.

Hurling is a joke at the minute.  You play 2 games and your in a semi final!
Report neill d August 8, 2016 1:45 PM BST
I'd respect your opinion as you're usually pretty dead on when you're dogmatic about something.

I thought they'd see it out a bit better against Tyrone myself, looked panicked in the last minutes and Tyrone had the chances to win but maybe I'm being over harsh and nearly any team would be the same in that scenario.

Indeed, they are the only team that can match the Dublin lung capacity.

If they'd added a few players, I'd definitely have them bang there, but I just don't see enough that is different from years gone by for all Dublin are a bit weaker.

I'd worry about the likes of Andy Moran being relied upon, they're an explosive new forward away for me, for all it has opened up for them with the run.
Report neill d August 8, 2016 1:47 PM BST
I probably shouldn't be derogatory of them either as they're clearly a good bunch of lads that try their nuts off.

You would get the impression alright, that they're the one team Dublin don't enjoy playing against. they give the likes of Connolly and Flynn something to think about going the other way which none of the other teams do.
