Mickleson ew again for me, liked his preparation style,went playing the course with a local.

Rory/Day/Mickleson probably be behind the red button if the "featured 3 ball" materilises. (1.30)

Fowler 35/1 e/w 7 places

Sergio 30/1 e/w 7 places

Kaymer played well , giving you a good run for your money , frank60 .

Rory making so many mistakes , cant win without huge improvement all around , and he got the best of conditions .  As for Dustin , with a course to suit him , his play was woeful .

Of those near the lead , Stenson looks the most likely winner , long way to go though , and weather may get in the way .

I hope Keymer can keep up the good start Kelly, i had a small bet on Ross Fisher at hugh odds as well .Poor Start by the Irish lads,  as you say a long way to go.

Had a conversation with a golf fan today . It went along the lines like this : when Rory was scoring 61 around Portrush as a teenager golf was easy .  He couldn't do it now , had to agree with that . He has changed clubs , ball , management ( twice) , and arguably other  things . So much for progress . Making mistakes all over the place , which puts pressure on his putting ( which is variable ) .  Still has so much talent , but not producing the goods .

Needs to let his clubs do the talking , back to basics .

Couldn't fault this fans handle on it , and that was pre tonights flop out . Still at least he can go to the Frampton fight tomorrow .

Backed Day so happy enough though was expecting more from the last two holes, seemed to be in two minds there.Rory only has himself to blame Kelly, went after the big bucks and who could blame him. Sadly his game is in tatters ,I play off 18 and am sure I could have done better with that 3nd shot at the last...

A fine 65 from Padraig today, a bit late i know but nice to see.

The PGA made a right bags of this,how could they not take any notice of the weather?
If out at 7 am the leaders could well have got a fair bit of their 3rd round in.
Pod won't be too unhappy though, a very slim chance but none before.

Yes should have went out earlier,bizarre,play starts at 12noon sunday our time but weather looks bleak
Hoping koepka,reed,fowler or spieth make a charge though day and stenson looking likely winner.

Will they go into Monday do ye think lads ,if the weather is bad that is..

I posted a "weather warning" on 29 July above . From 3000 miles away .  USPGA must have their heads in the sand  , have made the event into a lottery now , those still to play/ finish out  have to do so without any relief from bad lies , muddy balls etc .

I backed / traded two players only , both missed the cut  , so no residual interest in event other than maybe a few small in running  bets . Still could be a busy Sunday , guess whoever wins will be tired tonight .

What time does the coverage start at on sky,

2 pm as I recall from last nights coverage sign off .
