The bumper looks tricky ,not as clear cut as some would think...

Love a meeting where the favs let down and everyone piles on the lucky last fav - easy pickings

|
By:
The money for the fav in the last wasnt from the mugs backing the favs all day long. It was well fancied and the only danger to it was itself, which proved correct as it didnt settle.

Bit tough for backers of that fav alright, ended up only just touched off.
I.m not backing it in a fit but what will Byrnes do in the 1st at Dundalk(a claimer)? Rated 85 on British form, over a stone better than anything else in this but beaten well over 400Lths in 3 maiden hurdles in the meantime. Is he trying to get rid or score what looks like an open goal? A must watch for me,no bet whatsoever, but surely even Charles himself (accept different sphere) couldn't manage to win with a horse beaten so far in its last few? ![]() |

Its getting worse WR,PP are after cutting it into odds on,the exchange are nearly 15/8, ya might as well put a bag over your head and run around a dark room instead of having a bet in this thing

Presume the horse wont lift a leg over hurdles and handicapper wont give it a mark until it shows something. Id say he is hoping someone is tick enough to think he is holding it back etc and goes in and takes it off his hands!

Only bought for 14K so take a hit and run! Might still win but wont be winning any handicaps or hurldes races in the near future!

A seismic drift in both markets,a gamble in reverse?

Charles a law onto himself it seems...

Nothing sinister going on today. Horse is fit for the factory and nothing else and if they made a few euros laying it because some mugs thought he was well in, i say the best of luck to them.

Good to see Tony Martin getting what he deserves,

Donal Murphy - Aidan O'Brien has dominated this race over the last ten years, winning it six times. He saddles a quarter of the field this time round, and his SUCCESSOR looks the one to beat. He finished a staying on third on his last start over a mile and five at Navan, and the step up here to a mile and six should suit. 3/1

Ffs thisisalltooeasy Donal Murphy - AIMHIRGIN LASS, who won her maiden over the course last year, gets the nod here over Ringside Humour. The selection kept on well on her penultimate start over a mile and one at Ballinrobe, and the step up in trip to a mile and three here should suit. She probably wasn't mad about the soft ground on her most recent effort at Tipperary, and she might be able to register a second career success now. Ringside Humour has won her last two, but she has a lot of weight to carry here, and that might stop her from completing a hat-trick. 1st and 2nd, 13/8 & 4/1.
