I notice your four timer came up at Bellewstown yesterday.
I fancy the first two favs across the board. How was given an over confident ride the last time, they won't make the same mistake this time. Macbride I'm told was patently unfit in Gowran will improve no end from that run. |

Backed 3 of them thank God , heard Welds in the first yesterday has Galway on its agenda , I know its not a great meeting for future winners but I was impressed with Bel Sas both in the ring and juring the race , it won with its head in its chest and could have gone around again . it might be one to keep on the right side of...

Shameful goings on by a certain bookmaker at Naas today , Having backed Cool Thunder @ 15/8 and also took 7/4 . Tried to get my last 100 on down the end of the line @7/4 with this gent , you know the guy I'm talking about posh accent , his brother the complete opposite ,well this man who is often heard bemoaning the fact that people are not betting with the bookies , not only refused to give me 7/4 or even 6/4 when asked, handed me back my money . I shall bring this up the next time he appears on tele , in fact I am tempted to take it futhur .How the guy has a licence is beyond me...

Probably had pity on you, he knew well you were going to lose it and he's too nice a guy to take it off you.
He possibly reported you as well to the bosses at johnos |

Mincer , take another pill ffs ,you really are the pits ,you were told before about having a few pints and mixing your tablets ,another visit to the big white house on the cards . Huge ESB bill pending ....

first Workrider , I presume you are a regular racegoer therefore I wonder how you would approach the Bray based bookmaker who is well known as a twopenny halfpenny bookmaker. There were 22 Joes inattendance and other than FF and RM all were betting straight so why visit this man. I agree its a joke but unfortunately he lays very small.
That aside it was a good days racing highlighted by a return to form of Vastonea and a very gutsy win by Whiskey Sour. Take a deep breath was visually impressive but the time was quite slow. Kevin O Ryans absence in the parade ring was noticeable, Ken Whelan just not upto the job at all . Small crowd again , racing is dying on its feet at present , Mincer is probably correct there is no reason to attend at all |

Ken Whelan is actually funny.
|
|
By:
ah jaysus he is basically illerate , cringeworthy interviews and lack of knowledge,
funny as a kick in the bollix |

Calling Card I said the same to my mate about Ken ,he was getting mixed up a lot . My friend pointed out that he was fine down country ,but once near the bigger tracks he struggled ,i like Ken ,a man of iron .Up to the job well thats another story ..
That Bray bookie was the last man on my way back from having done my business with several others in the ring . Never bet with him since leaving Gowran one day and had a lose 70e, asked him for 7/1 for about a runner and he refused the 70e bet, so I knew what I was doing asking him for 100 @ 7/4 or even 6/4 . As I said he was last in line on my way to the stand...The guys a joke full stop... |

I hear you were very casual at the lunch Ozy ,complaints that the low grade pub was not to the clientels liking ,you'll have to improve your location next time or else!
|
|
By:
The location surpassed all expectations, it goes without saying that my Vintage Hermès Cravat struck exactly the right tone.
Should we be a bit concerned that in the past days on here you have admitted to clutchng Quuaaars to your bosom and then questioning the sartorial elegance of a fellow race goer? |
|
By:
Might you be running low on Testosterone, for example? Very common at your age.
|
|
By:
Ah but the leso was worth holding on too ,a cracker ,sartorial elegence is a choice ,I'm sure you pop it back on Henrys dresser when you'd finished with it...Night night been on here for ages ,time to retire to my place of rest and dream beautiful dreams ...
