The sight of millionaire Bob Geldof making obscene gestures from his million pound yacht at ordinary fisherman swayed plenty into the Leave camp.

He followed his obscene gestures by flicking V signs and swearing at the fisherman.

He previously had promised to house refugees in his many properties, the hypocrite never did.

The empty promises, the passionate about being compassionate, the general vulgarity reminds me of the a certain forumite.

Two talentless charmless vulgarians.

I would have had geldof as a bit of a hero of mine .
The Irish punk, not a note in his head and still made it.
Knowing it wouldn't last and switching to business.
The whole live aid effort with midge ure.

Taking in his daughters half sister after she was orphaned showed his compassion.

But one or two recent incidents show him in a different light.

The boat incident was embarrassing and struck of him becoming another conformist/protectionist ex anarchist.

Not sure if I ever replied directly to WFB or vice verse but his posts here, chit chat and politics have him in my opinion the best poster on here by a country mile.

Have to agree with that last comment. Wildman has regularly highlighted points that most would shun away from. You don't have to agree with every argument but we need that honesty out there in the open. We rarely see it behind this cloak of political correctness that has developed over the last 20 years.

It's a funny old world when the only two politicos who seem to be honest and just tell the truth, and get vilified for it, by opposing camps, are Nigel Farage and Jeremy Osborn.

Another lesson - these celebs, Geldof & Izzard are two that spring to mind, should never be taken seriously and are examples of the world we now find ourselves in, where their celebrity status seems to make them think they should espouse their political views on the wider population.

The wildman doesn't like it up and at him. He likes "conversing" with what he would consider to be his inferiors. Stubby, wonks, tony etc would never get the better of the wild one in an argument. That's the way he likes it.

That defeat in the challenge really hurt Slickster.
Workrider put up winner after winner, how many winners do you think Slickster put up.

The only one that ever had a losing run to rival Slickster was Bigwilliestyle.

I consider no one my inferior not even the pedantic Slickster.

Your form is improving but you would still have the Timeform squiggle.

Every time you came on stating a horse of mine couldn't win it won.
I was posting horses here just for your reaction.

I still like your quirky angles and like your posts.

That's where you earned the Timeform squiggle.

You rained in some monster blows early, set up a huge lead and then Workrider started to chip away at your lead.

In fairness I think you conceded because you were going on holidays.
