This looks a match to me.
Elusive In Paris beat Worth Avenue three parts of a length but there is now a 5 pound pull for Worth Avenue. Worth Avenue got the run of the race whereas Elusive In Pariswas dog unlucky,he was hampered on more than one occasion. When a horse gets hampered it gives him a breather, this may have helped him look to easily have stayed the 9 and a half furlongs,I'm still doubtful. I'm fearful Elusive In Paris won't stay so won't back him,I also think Worth Avenue will improve for his last run. Whippers Dream up 7 pound won't like the ground. Queen Zain finished fourth in Gowran over the same trip on same day but in a slower time. |

Despite the numbers there don't look a lot in it alright.
I think he will get the trip in that he will be ridden quietly probably 2/3's down the field and will have 1 "go" off him late on. The latter stages could present an "attitude" problem more than staying would be my worry though since going to J Feane he seems more reformed. Still 7/2 gen before Jim Larkin came out was a big price. Unless Worth Avenue really needed the run last time i still think she won't turn it around. Very hopeful. |

The highlight of tonights meeting for me was ,Blairmanes lads reaction as the horse past the post , he screamed his head off , trew his hands up in the air ,repeating over and over ,its unbelieveable . What a fantastic reaction , one of pure joy . It brought a smile to my face just watching the guy experiencing such joy , well done youngman.
