Coolmore want a miler as a stallion.
Air Force Blue is not the one so they hope The Gurkha will fill that slot.
St James Palace Stakes next up and maybe a step up in trip in the Eclipse followed by the Irish Champion.

i reckon they will skip ascot for teh gurha..........a nicely planned campaign for him to pick up 2 group 1s over ten furlongs will be on the agenda......eclipse and juddemont will be the targets.

Lavk of 2yo form whatever yhe reason is an issue for the Gurkha. Theyll be keen to go down the mile route with the Gurkha as his pedigree is pretty stamina laden Ive heard. Avcentuate his speed and that for all you hear the best stallions are those typical of their fathers.

Never back ante post myself unless I have specific information . Brownes Gazette ( 33/1 , each way ) stopped my interest in ante post . The list of short priced ones that have gone down the swanee this year is unbelievable , some of them did not run .

Reckon ante post nowadays is just a vehicle for publicity by the bookies and the media .
