Some Neck has been the bane of my punting year , twice before yesterday I'd backed this lad with both barrells only to be badly burned .Went to the paddock yesterday with a open mind , had a look , he looked great strutting around as if he owned the place . Went to bookies saw 2/1 a hint of 15/8 and 7/4 , decided to get stuck in again ,took the 2/1 and went back to my usual place up in the stand , for most of the race I was thinking todays the day . Finally when push came to shove and Patrick shovelled on the coal he once again came up short ,finding little for pressure . So I'm thinking maybe if they put a hurde in front of him it'll be his redemption . Well theres always next year ...
