Dublin not often available at 1.68 , should be a serious day out in Croker

Should be a great occasion. 84000 odd full house, I fancy the Dubs myself.
You won't get much GAA chat on here nowadays, the crew have driven most posters away.

I think Kerry might do it today. They have improved massively since their meeting in the round robin stage and will be keen to avenge last years final defeat. Dublin have cruised through the league in second gear but have used a huge amount of players and haven't learned much about them in the heat of battle. On the big days in the last few year excluding last years final, Kerry have played above themselves against Dublin despite losing and come into this match with more strength in depth and confidence than they have in a while.

On this evidence, Kerry cannot beat the dubs. I had expected them to throw the kitchen sink at it today. Perhaps they did but they are just too far behind them.

Can anyone beat the Dubs?

mayo might if they get a bit of overdue luck and a fair ref.

I dunno about fair but for betting purposes I would be counting in the influence of a packed Croke Park, it may not be 'fair' but its the way it is.

Having said that the Dubs are worthy favourites, but I would also have Mayo as most likely to upset them. I would prefer to wait and back Mayo on the day against them though if it happens. I can't trust them not to slip up elsewhere.

well leinster is a forgone conclusion.they will be playing a second tier qualifier like galway or armagh or maybe cork.then it gets semi serious.likely last 4 in my opinion are dubs kerry mayo and donegal might still have a kick in them.but dublins bench is so strong if a guy is underperforming hes whipped off and an equal replaces him..mcmenamin, costello, md mcauley, fitzsimons, o gara and mccaffrey to come back.its an awesome panel

Dublin 5/4 with PP after todays final, not a bad price. Who can beat them? Kerry another day? lot of miles on the clock of Donaghy,Cooper,O'mahony,Seehan.Marc O Se etc. Mayo have had enough chances in the past and arent as strong in my eyes this year, donegal not up to it so that leaves Tyrone although Morgan been injured is a bit of a negative, Cork unlikely. No one else probably counts.

are dublin more likely to win win it than lose it?id say yes.therefore 5/4 is a good price.though you gotta wait 5 months for it.
Report DeargDubh April 24, 2016 6:05 PM BST
Gotta agree with you both. 6/4 with 365.  Took a few quid at it straight after the game.

i backed them last yr at 6/4 13/8 and 7/4.after they drew with mayo in semi they were 9/4..which was an unreal generous price..i availed again but as dominant as dublin were if that ball fell to a kerry forward like gooch or o donoghue instead of killian young it would have been a draw match with 6 min to go..championships are not easily won!!
