One again like the cuckoo, corncrake and the swallows Punchestown comes upon us - as does the hardy annual of getting to and from the course. Before getting to the course CHECK transport details and do NOT go to Busarus (Dublin) expecting 'busses to Punchestown) becasue you wont find any,I'm going to check myself now to find out and I'll give the detaill.
Right: I've checked, if one wants to go from Dublin city centre, one, Marathon Travel will have a bus service operating, it says, the Punchestown website says, to contact Marathon or a phone number + an email address is given. Another option, two, is to by rail from Hueston, get a train the the local station called 'Sallins and Naas' and from there it's claimed (well I profess scepticism about anything about 'transport' to Punchestown) it's claimed anyway there's a shuttle bus to the course. By the way that station is called 'Sallins and Naas', well it was the last time I saw it. Right: that's it, in summary, dont go to Busarus looking for 'busses to Punchestown' - you wont find any.

A tremendous rant, a version of which you have posted on here for at least the last ten years. I urge you to get over the time you were late to Punchestown because you didn't know where the bus went from. Good man.
