The Aintree Grand National result was fantastic in every respect, its all well documented.
This has been some season for Gigginstown.
They may employ some ropey trainers but all their horses run on their merits, heck they even take each other on.

They are winning the big chases whilst another outfit are scrambling around winning with well handicapped horses.

The answer is yes , their win win policy is clearly paying off . The other camp have a bookies mentality , profitability is their motto .

In general WM and Giggi race their horses honestly. No doubt there are a few honest people involved but most of the remainder are scum-bags who should be locked up and some people wonder why racing is struggling. Its great to see Giggi getting their reward with the 3 mile chasers.

Touche , Giggy deserve all the success they get , only interested in winning big races and sell off horses below that grade - not interested in using them as betting fodder...

Yeah, but hang on, are they dishing out free Jerseys to the Local GAA club?

Yes.Keep with in the rules.Place your horse in the right races. And remember to win one race you may have to lose a few.

Great result for Gigginstown , they deserve success for the effort they put in . The Grand National is akin to a lottery though , some horse has to win it , glad it was Irish in 2016 .

Bookies benefit , the Grand National , once a year guaranteed rip off , the public love it ( according to media hype anyway ), and its a great opportunity for some to display their wares . No Red Rums around though . And the bookies just tighten down the prices by the minute near the off . No big queues in the bookies though like there used to be , maybe the public have twigged the score . Some of the shops I was in on Saturday had "promotional" people in action , encouraging would be punters , but I got the feeling they were bashing their heads against a stone wall .

Backed one myself in the race , just for interest , at 100/1  on here.  Ran like the price suggested , never in the race , finished out the back .  The fences aren't what they used to be though , which is maybe a good thing for the horses and jockeys and the animal rightists in particular .
