Had a look at her before she did her piece of work the last day , obviously she was on the big side , but it was noticable how well she worked , she should have come on a nice bit from that..

Avant Tout looks a really good bet in the 4.10 Limerick at 10-11.

His form behind Outlander would win this alone. He has improved since then, should really have won the Coral at Chelt but for a horror ride/trip. I doubt Lord Scoundrel will get home, and though I have always liked Fine Theatre, he looks a class below the jolly.

If he gets around, he wins IMO. And wins well.

Disappointed with the price of Aasheq in the concluding maiden.,this son of Beach Bunny is allegedly Welds best 3 year old.

The hype about US Army Ranger could make the market but its not at the moment.

Master Speaker was unlucky last time here so should win although he seems to make his own trouble.

I know its the start of the season and most proceed with caution but I think today will be a favourites day.

Going to have a go with these 4 .
Dick Wittington. Going to take a chance on this fellows fitness, although with this stable at this time of year that can be fatal .
Found. Another whos fitness you have to take on trust , saw her before she did that piece of work after racing and she looked well enough and was pleasing in what she did that day.
Waitaki. She went into plenty of notebooks after her first run , having beaten Bolgers fair and square at Naas , she should confirm the form with that rival .
Balanced Approach. Ran well under hands and heels in a nice maiden at Leopardstown, and the step up in trip sure to suit.

Couldn't agree more Punchestown,he did have a good winner in Dundalk but particulary with the maidens last season a lot seemed to be getting a run first time.
Obvious but Papa,s Way5.00 looks to hold who he met in Mallow, bit of a puzzling run,on the ball with the flag start,he raced up there and just over 2f out i presume he must have hit a bad patch as he lst 4-5Lths,came through well to claim 2nd against easy winner Heartbreack City, like them with fitness on their side and only bet at 5/2,gl with your picks.

Barry Geraghty took a long time to go after Velocity Boy,very poor ride at best.

Pa,I wouldn't go near them with stolen money, nearly everything under performs until they're good and ready, including hot pots.

It was one of them you can't believe your eyes, i said to myself when is he going to go after him, looked worse on the replay as he only pushed him after the 2nd last.
Be interesting to read the stewards report later, even at best it was what you calle "ill judged", poor advertisement for Irish racing.

Normally the things that set off like that are no-hopers but this was a horse with form and for that reason there can be very little excuse for letting him away like that. Either total incompetence or something worse. I had no bet in the race and wouldnt touch anything like that anyway.

The stewards are having an enquiry - they'll probably blame the poor starter but we all know nothing will happen and if it does it will all be overturned at a later date.

Arkle, the start wasn't that bad,a very poor attempt at sidestepping by atr and or stewards, bobs down in 3.00 and BG like a man possesed, bad way of thinking but delighted he got stuffed there.

It was a poor start but I wouldnt blame the starter for the result in any way.

It was a shocking "effort" by everybody in behind Cash especially BJG who held onto a plodder until the last possible moment.

30 days for bjg , 60 for hoss , 3 k for the " trainer"

Hopefully there will be no pathetic cop out and overturning of the decision this time.

Proper order.

Well done Limerick stewards, everyone knows they have been getting away with it for years.

It'll come as some shock to them to get that kind of ban on home turf

I was disappointe DM from Irishracing.com gave such a poor write-up in his post race synopsis, talk about not making waves and not a single mention of at least the possibility of BG leaving the horse with way too much to do.

Very hard to get a hack to rock the gravy boat Pa in case you fall out of it and not get invited back on..
