What could have been a great programme was destroyed by the coarse vulgarian narrator. His risible grasp of history shines through, this foul mouthed millionaire puts his own ribald spin on everything.
He is given a great subject but has to get his friends in on the act. Bono ( the great tax avoider and preacher ) manages to read the lines " fumble in the greasy till,And add the halfpence to the pence " with a straight face. A hotch potch of actors and authors read badly some of his poems, they only read a line or two, none of the blighters can remember the lines.
I will watch the second part but think it will deteriorate. An opportunity missed.
"this foul mouthed millionaire puts his own ribald spin on everything".
Anyone else find this quaintly amusing? Not suggesting wildman is a millionaire by the way.

Well that is your OPINION. How do we know? Another presentation of flimsy facts. Suppose you don't put your own spin on anything either? Why don't you create ANOTHER non sporting, boring, repetitive thread before you blow a gasket. Must have been all of 2 hours since the last one.
