Thistlecrack's first really big display was when he won by 13 lengths at Aintree on good/soft when he had Alpha covered when that one fell and he absolutely flew home at Punchestown on fairly decent ground when he should have beaten Killultagh Vic. He just looks to be improving rather than simply improving on soft ground.

If Vautour loses I'll eat my fcuking hat, only has to stay on his feet,
Road to riches should not be running in this race, everyone knows that bar o'leary.
Vautour thistlecrack limini treble, quids in.

i spoke to charlie longsdon and he was very sweet on his horse our kaempfer,e/w..form ties in with thistlecrack and charlie put him away for this race ..hes desperate for a festival winner. ive layed limini all day long, think theres 2 in the race to beat her smart talk or choca wocca,im not a layer(some may say they can see why?..lol)but these 2 are very good mares. thistlecrack looks bomb proof, in the last i,ll be very disappointed if silvergrove is not in the frame @16/1 best of luck

Sad No More Heroes got put down last night, such a promising horse.
Worst day of the 4 to me, i'm with Thislecrack,he has looked awesome this season and on all form seems to hold them all, maybe the ground may suit some better but shouldn't inconvenience Thistlecrack i think. Kilcooley at a big price could be a joker.
Gordon Elliott thinks Tagitelle could run well in the Pertemps, though top weight has the excellent Jack Kennedy on board, not beaten all that far behind Artic Fire(twice) in graded races and also considered good enough to take his chance in the Long Walk, looks a sporting 16/1 shot to me.
Watered there last night(4mm) i'm not sure we havn't all been hoodwinked with the ground the last couple of days, might be wrong but seems to me to have been a fair bit quicker than good to soft.
Best of luck today.

Desperate news about no more heroes pa, his exuberant jumping has been a highlight of the winter.
I've backed leave at dawn in the pertemps. Looks very well handicapped, should love the ground and based on his previous run @ Cheltenham he should have the required stamina also. I've also had a saver on broxbourne who may be outpaced but will love te ground and will be staying on @ the finish. I agree taglitelle should run very well pa but I think there just might be a few lurking who would have a few more pounds in hand.
I've also backed John's Spirit in the Byrne Group Plate. Similar profile to Holywell earlier in the week. He has fallen a stone in the weights, will love the track and ground and showed a bit of spark in his last race. You know this will be the long time target also.
Good luck.

Vautour in a common canter, hopefully. Think he'll annihilate this lot.
Elsewhere, the value might be drying up but John's Spirit & Leave at Dawn look to have obvious chances.
Gl all.

Don't know where norn gets the idea that the Ryanair is "very competitive" Road to riches is running over the wrong trip and is not good enough, VL is tripless and inconsistent and fell last time out, Al Ferof has had his day, and already been destroyed by Vautour, TDS is useless, Village Vic is a handicapper, Dynaste is useless, smashing and gilgamboa e/w shouts

What a farce of a start, Davy turning the horse round, rotten on backers.
No difference in your examples there really WR,part i suppose down to the books being competitive but this place being run by programmes, dictated to by oddschecker and an absurdly high commission is in freefall downwards. The books refunding on Zabana case in point as well as bog if applicable. Noticed Rathpatrick alright, myself and Newsapproach thought he'd win and knew before the off twas a million. Keep going with de yankee.

Cheers lads couldn't have Vautour beat at all, still think he'd have won the GC on that ground too, Delighted to see empire of dirt win a big one too, I'm sure a few of you lads were on think u may have backed it lto if I remember right pa

No,that was someone intelligent, looking in hindsight it could easily be backed all the same, Myself and Wildman had a lot of meas in Cause of Causes going back, always was a bit worried with the jumping but fences aside and on the presumption he gets over them surely won't be far away for the Grand National on that display.
Great day for Irish runners and punters generally i would think and sets up tomorrow as a possible share price hitter if a fancied runners day(i hope so)
In the meantime Irelands premier sporting occasion takes centre stage Man Utd Vs Liverpool.
