GOOD LUCK TONY
IMO KINGS MYSTERY CODE GREAT BET HER THIRD TO JERS GIRL IS BEST FORM AND FOLLOWED UP WITH DECENT SHOW AT WARWICK |
|
By:
fair point norn..but she was beat 35l lto ..unbuckled was beat 20l but she was up against what some think is a very decent sort..mystic sky could be a danger..she was beat by briery queen who runs in the 3.15, shes a decent mare on here day but has to come back from a poor run lto..she has not been the same since she fell in a listed race @haydock
|
|
By:
buckled n/r..ground will have changed with snow showers in the area

FAVOURITE GIRL WON THIS LAS YR 5LB LESS MUST BE DANGER
|
|
By:
i think briery queen 3.15 is now a good thing with a clear round after that race has cut up..but @5/4 im not sure i,d play, ive backed mystifiable 4.00 @newbury @7/2 won well lto and jumps well which you need round here..threatre goer 5.05 from a yard i know well, trainer told me he has no worrys about the quick run and the horse just stays but again 9/4 is short enough.

The nap is The Magic Pencil in the 4.45 in Lingfield ( I wonder does Snap own this )
The NB is Mountain Eagle in the 4.30 at Newbury. |

Liked Briery Gale more before I saw the snow on the track which will make it a lot more testing. Looks like she wants better ground but might well win anyway.
John Gosden has very often introduced nice horses at Lingfield and the fact that he starts Pechora off over 12 furlongs straight away suggests either she is very slow or he is not messing around with an educational spin for her. Her sister showed smart enough form last year when clearly wanting more of a testing that 10 furlongs and she should be very decent this year over at least 12 furlongs. If Pechora runs to her pedigree she should win this well. The Magic Pencil looked a little unlucky last time but Ishara fell in next time at 3/10 and Dream Ahead not a positive for a step up in trip. Maybe they are stepping him up to get his mark and will exploit it next time. A run to 70 probably wins this and Pechora could be capable of a good bit more than that. FUS Rabat in the Moroccan League tonight at 6/5 for the more exotic bet that Snap, Rocketfingers and Ozy might like. It has been a while since we got some basketball. Maybe a Finnish League Ice Hockey game later as well. |

Nice one temlett will have a pop at the Moroccans at that price.
Still get the occasional golden nugget from my French basketball contact, but they often come thru last minute so haven't much time to post them |

Snap , waiting on a call from his Algerian correspondent , letting him know what time the boat pulls out at....

|
By:
A boat from Algeria to Morocco would be an interesting choice of transport.
|
|
By:
Dan , i see that horse you mentioned is trained by Kevin Ryan, that would be enough for me not to back it.
I wouldnt give the chap a rocking horse to look after, never mind sending him a racehorse to train. |
|
By:
Temlett ,you miss the point , a lot of those smugglers are Algerian.
|
|
By:
I am interested in the horse winning and the team winning.
How Algerian smugglers have crept into a thread started by Tony, highlighting a horse and then highlighting a winning bet, followed by more discussion on horses and football, is another matter. |
|
By:
well done tony and temlett
wonks have you no shame get off this racing thread |
|
By:
Of course Temlett , just commentting on Snaps French reference , he usually pms me when he has the word , I was hoping to get his attention in case he does, he'll understand .

Temlett summarised the race perfectly.
Mincer pointed out a weakness about the trainer. Unfortunately I was already on. I hate betting on English racing seems much harder to find a winner. |
|
By:
Nice one temlett, lovely prospect going forward for the blue army
