Just two bets for me at Leop today, both from WPM yard.
Potters Point at 11-8 and Beau Mome at 4s. Potters is far from a leading light at Closutton, but will relish this step up in trip, and has very little to beat in the opener. Space Cadet would get beat in a match, and nothing else poses any real concern. Beau Mome is my cliff horse, but judging on what he does at home if he cant win off 117, he will be down the bottom of the cliff with me. The ground is still officially heavy in places, but I would imagine after the driest 4/5 days in about 5 months, it will be a deal better than what he has faced in his 3 starts here to date. That will definitely be a plus. If he jumps proficiently in hcp company, I think he could indeed skate in. The jolly was flattered in a poor Graded race lto, and would seem to have enough on his plate off todays mark. |

Topped up on Beau Mome at 2s without two favs. Short ish in running lay put in. May be the type to do most of his running on the bridle.

" Jett was always going to need hurdles possibly even a fence but he will beat these things tomorrow "
As pithy and prescient a statement as you will ever read on here. This is CheltenhamRoar at his best. That statement couldn't be much shorter yet couldn't say much more, its brilliant in its brevity. Potters Point found nothing and more than likely has a wind problem. |
