A heads up for the retired and the under-employed.

The pinnacle of Rugger in this country, the Leinster Schools Senior Cup.  Broadcast live from D4.

Sit back with a single Malt.  Watch the young Liberal Elite display tremendous character and knock seven bells out of each other.   And take comfort from that fact that the country is in good hands as soon these chaps will have their hands on our Nation's tiller.

Today Clongowes vs Monkstown.  Betting available.

Rock and Belvo drew this afternoon.

Cracking game, two evenly matched sides, will be  well worth catching the replay.

It really is sport at its purist and far better to watch than Test rugby.  Skill levels, intent and atmosphere are off the charts.

Rock vs Belvo replay today at 3.

I presume it is live on Setanta.  Well worth a watch.  The final in all but name, allegedly.

Have the defending champions any chance ?
Will The Galtee Mountain Boy be heard at Lansdowne Road, hopefully

If there were politicians in attendance they would come from the left.
The three posh boys of Irish politics are
Richard Boyd Barrett
Paul Murphy
Eoin OBroin.

All three privately educated individuals who fell under the spell of out left wing biased education system

Not too sure, Brneo.

This is like watching poetry.  Sport of the very highest order.  Skill levels and ambition, off the charts!

Two more sparkling encounters this week see Roscrea take on Belvo in the final. Both Clongowes and Michael's were magnificent in defeat.

Roscrea will hope for bad weather in the final and will also benefit from the switch to grass at the RDS. (The artifical surface at Donnybrook has really helped the spectacle to date).  Roscrea's strength is their pack, Belvo have a better all round game, and look special at times.

It'll be a fascinating battle between one side with a massive but mobile pack against another with a brave and determined pack combined with a superb back line. I'm looking forward to it.
