We all know how biased Channel Four are,combine that with the visceral hatred of Donald Trump in the European media and I think you will find a hatchet job of all hatchet jobs in this documentary.

RTE can barely mention Trumps name without rolling spit in their mouth,all commentators use the same lingo,buffoon,demagogue.
I personally dislike celebrity candidates but I've been following him closely and he is the only one saying what the people want an end to immigration.
He is the one man in the field who's running for the presidency will cost him,he cannot be bought.
He is not beholden to the wealthy donors who want the cheap labour and the extra customers.
He is going to get the working class vote,I think he will also get the vote of Black America.

Total number of votes cast is not the key to gaining power as you well know. As regards the whys and why nots as to why they failed to win any regions.(despite the climate at the time being overwhelmingly in their favour)...what matters is the result...and power...and your prediction, yet again, fell devastatingly short. This "conservative Christian voice" that finds an outlet here is largely silent in public discourse. Is it fear of ostracisation or not quite yet being ready or convinced of the Revolution?
I'm not so sure I would be lauding four former Iron Curtain countries just yet as two things come to mind: the newly-built fences on the west (perhaps there should now be fences on the western borders?) are reminiscent of the New York riots of the 1860's when the Irish feared a lower rung on the ladder was about to usurp them and its not to long ago we saw the capacity of the Balkans to tear itself from limb to limb.
Christianity to me is not the catholic church with its despicable record in Ireland, its general disregard for women and its ability to accumulate assets and work assiduously (despairingly) to hold on to them.....sounds like Trump could be a modern version of this with his record on all these matters. It is not an inward looking society that becomes homophobic, misogynistic, xenophic, , gun-loving war-mongering and hateful of different creeds and races. I watched TRUMP on fox news last night on the o'reilly show, they have known eachother for over 30yrs..the man is a child, how KL can even contemplate this man in power is beyond my comprehension? he won't go on the fox news debate because of his spat with fox anchor megan Kelly, (trump said she was in a mood cos it was her time of the month?)he came across as a baby..he has no answers to questions ..only were sending them back? were building a wall and we,ll make America great again..never how hes going to do these things with gridlock in Washington?his petulance was amazing, when you vote for a president you vote for policies..and the man..i still stand by my view that he,ll never beat Hillary (thankfully) but a country that can vote in George w bush...twice is very unpredictable.
I hope Ted Cruz wins the Republican nomination and ultimately, the presidency. I feel his views are much more genuine and authentic. Trump has brought up a lot of important issues but he has changed his views completely in the last few years when he was a Clinton cheerleader and firmly in favour of abortion. Who knows whether he will change his views again once he gets into office.
Cruz had held the same beliefs throughout his career and seems more authentic in his beliefs and ideas to change America. He has always been staunchly pro life and apologetically stood up to Washington cronies. He has also exposed Obama for the fraud that he is and defended the constitutional rights of ordinary Americans. It says a lot that The Republican Party seem to have more fear about a Cruz win than a Trump win. I hope he goes all the way.

Cruz is no fool tony, he is a highly intelligent man. He graduated from both princton and harvard and was a very successful solicitor general for Texas by all accounts.
He introduced a very sensible bill in the senate which allowed the president to deny visas to foreign ambassadors who were involved in terrorism. This was in response to Iran appointing Hamid Aboutalebi, who was involved in the Iran hostage crisis, as their ambassador to the U.S. Surely all right thinking people can see this is a very sensible law to bring into any country, let alone one like the USA who have so many enemies across the world.

He has courted the evangelical vote because he knows it is easy pickings. They are hardly going to vote for Trump who is a brash New Yorker and has promoted abortion in the past. Cruz's father is a pastor, there is no doubt he is religious but no reason to suggest his views are in any way extreme.

In the unlikely event of him winning the nomination it will be challenged in the courts,its bad news for me as I backed him at 80/1.
Marco Rubio finished third in Iowa but has emerged as the big winner.
Its now a three horse race,the Republican establishment,Fox News and the wealthy donors are backing Rubio.
The main issue for me is immigration,Marco Rubio is a disaster in this area.
He promised to curb immigration but when he got to Washington he went native and supported amnesty,an amnesty so open it would have let the whole of Mexico in.
I am reluctantly forced to root for Trump,beyond the bombast he is far and away the best on immigration.

Trump would be a total disaster,as for Cruz can't see how he can become the president not being born in the US ! I lived the majority of my life in the UK but was born in America, I joined the US navy serving on a nuclear submarine. As I spent over six years continuous presence in the US both my sons were able to have US citizenships despite being born in England. My youngest son is currently serving in the US Marine Corp, however had he followed my footsteps and joined the Navy due to the secrecy involved in the submarine service he would not of been allowed on one and would of have had to go on a surface boat or a target as we liked to call them

No offence taken wildman, tbh it's the worst line up for POTUS I have ever seen, goes against everything I believe in but think sanders is the best out of the lot of them

Must admit the Hispanics have really taken hold, I went out to the US last November really noticed it from when I was out there in the 80s. Mind you my Brother in law is from Guatamala. He's there on diplomatic papers, comes from a very rich family. Nothing is in my half sisters name it's all in his as he pays no US tax and he is on big bucks !

I was watching fox last night and sen, lindsey graham rep,head of the house armed service committee(who supports bush)was damming of trump, he said if trump is the nominee (we'll get creamed)I will support him, I,ll buy a ticket for the titanic? his views on immigration will lose us the race before it starts as the demographics are against us..Hispanics and African americans will NOT vote for him in sufficient numbers.

im delighted for America, to see a left wing candidate get the votes hes getting gives me hope for the world..if the yanks can vote for him then we can get the torys out..but I just carnt see him winning the presidency..i think Hillary will win she has the strong argument that a woman should have the job...trump would beat Bernie..but never beat Hillary..imo

I wouldn't disagree with you Wildman..and I agree with trump especially on stopping non American muslims entering the country...but Hillary did a good job for new York when she was in the senate..and woman will remember how hard it is, and was to get a woman into this position..i think sen, graham is right trump will get creamed in the election against Clinton.
