I think he might have given himself a turn.
In the immediate aftermath of Cologne, he was starting multiple threads across the various forums. It was a Krakatoa-like eruption. Dogmatic, unbridled, preaching, think Al Sharpton meets Ian Paisley. Hammering home the same point, time after time, in staccato fashion. Anyway, I sincerely hope he is ok. |

I dont allways agree with Wildman but i couldn,t help thinking about his posts on here when i came across this link on youtube the other day. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ry3NzkAOo3s

ACT! for America's president and founder Brigitte Gabriel has become a media favorite of conservatives concerned about terrorism. A video of Ms. Gabriel's comments about "Muslims dedicated to the destruction of Western civilization" at a Heritage Foundation forum in June 2014 was revived by bloggers and passed around social media.
"The radicals are estimated to be between 15 to 25 percent, according to all intelligence services around the world," she said, in part, when asked by an American University head-scarf wearing law student about waging an ideological war with Muslims. "You're looking at 180 million to 300 million people dedicated to the destruction of Western civilization," Gabriel added. As always Frank, you need to dig a little deeper. Is this figure accurate? Not according to Angel Rabasa, who is a senior political scientist at the RAND corporation. While conducting research for a 2014 book he coauthored, "Euro Jihad," he found that Western European intelligence agencies estimated that less than one percent of the Muslim population living within their borders are at risk for becoming radicals. Note that this is an extrapolation of estimates gathered in Europe; Gabriel’s claim refers to a percentage of Muslims worldwide. That total number is more than 1.6 billion, according to the Pew Research Center. Working off of these intelligence estimates, if you were to take one percent of the Muslim populations of Germany, France, and the United Kingdom, by the most liberal of estimates, less than 125,000 Muslims living in these combined countries would be prone to radicalization. Add that to the possible radical population across the rest of Europe and the sum is approximately 325,000 Muslims are at risk of becoming radical. The key qualifier is "at risk of becoming radical." That doesn't mean they will pick up a gun or start plotting an attack. "Radicalization and violent extremism are two different things," Mr. Rabasa says. "Violent extremist behavior only comes about if a radicalized individual falls in with a circle of people who are open to using violence." Perhaps a better indicator to evaluate what percentage of the European Muslims are extremists prone to violence may be to count the number of people who have gone off to fight in Syria and Iraq for any one the thousand-plus factions on the ground, most notably the Islamic State, because these individuals are engaging in combat and are receiving training. The Christian Science Monitor reported in September 2014 that the top European Union counter-terrorism official estimated that roughly 3,000 Europeans had gone to fight in Syria, although this figure also counted the dead and was later reduced to 2,000. American officials originally said there were more than 100 Americans who had gone to Syria. But the FBI chief has since reduced it to 12 confirmed people. More recently, the number of Europeans that have gone to fight with Islamist militia in Syria and Iraq has been estimated at over 5,000. France is the largest exporter of jihadists. More than 500 French nationals are believed to be fighting there, The Associated Press reported in November 2015. Calls and emails to Act! for America in January to clarify Gabriel's statistics and statements were not returned. |

And how did they find out, did they get them to fill out a survey?
Point is it only take 0.00000001% of them them to kill a few thousand. Can't remember the exact figures but by last October 800,000 had come to Europe of which about 62% were men, 22% children and 16% women. No wonder ISIS are taking over when all rhetoric cowards are fcuking off and leaving the women and kids behind to defend their countries. |

lets hope Angel Rabasa is correct with the figures OZ, meanwhile Forrest Trump is now 2nd Fav to be next U.S. President ,
|

By:
Yes, very few are needed to reek havoc. But blatant scaremongerig with figures of 25% is misleading propoganda and unhelpful to general understanding.

You can lay The Don all day long, Frank.

Lets hope your right Oz. Trump is 7/2 to be next Mr President ,[bet365] |

50 million Muslims in Europe atm, 80% on them on welfare....
|
|
By:
^ More misleading data.
For a start this 50m number dates to 2010 and includes Russia which has approximately 26m Muslims. In 2010 the EU figure was 19m, it is difficult to find up to date figures, though naturally they will be considerably higher. However, the perception that Muslim populations are larger than they really are is widespread in Europe, according to an analysis last year from Ipsos Mori. The average French citizen thought 31% of France’s population was Muslim against the recorded 8%, Germans thought theirs was 19% against 6%, and in the UK the figures were 21% and 5%. Misconceptions about minority populations stand in the way of a more informed debate on migration at a volatile time. As regards the figure of '80% being on benefits' this appears to relate only to recent arrivals. However, the rate of unemployment among Muslims, especially Muslim youth, is sometimes twice the average. There are many reasons underlying this...see discussion in https://lobelog.com/muslim-radicalization-in-europe-roots-and-resolution/ |

I replied on this thread last night but it was removed.
It wasn't offensive but it disagreed with Ozymandius and his view is the preferred view on here. Premier Fantasy gets some of my posts removed so I'm not sure whether its the moderators or the gents that have perfected the art of scrapping threads. One thing is certain is its a new sinister development. The Forum Awards have been going for five years, they are a bit of gas but this year they were removed, not only removed but any reference to them removed, the Urban Spaceman may have been involved,I'm not sure. |

indeed Wildman..who ever gets posts deleted is a coward ..and is doing the site no favors, I can no longer post on the politics site..ive received no warning from betfair , ive received no messages from anyone..yet ALL my posts are deleted, as one of the lads on there said..they cannot debate me,,so they silence me, its a affront to free speech.
|
|
By:
That was an eye opener for me Tony.
I think someone there has discovered a way of removing posts, they have shut down all discussion on that site so its kind of pointless. On a side issue I think Corbyn calling for all the Calais gentlemen to be let into Britain is a huge mistake,Labour should listen to Frank Field. |
|
By:
I agree Wildman, I respect corbyn, and he has a mandate, but labour are in turmoil, thePLP hates him, until he either takes over..or he goes..we have no chance...the man is just wrong on this issue..
|
|
By:
I think Corbyn is principled,he just has the wrong principles.
Labour no longer speak for the working class. When do you hear anyone complain about the deindustrialisation of the North of England. When do you hear them complain ( apart from yourself ) on the relentless attacks on the sick and disabled. Their concerns are human rights for asylum seekers,LBGT rights and extra maternity leave for wealthy women. When will they realise the concerns of the ordinary Brit are much more basic,a proper living wage,a chance of a house and school places for their children, these are not unreasonable demands. |
|
By:
Did our Tony really just claim that he was 'un-debatable'?
|
|
By:
no oz..im not..if you were on that site you would understand what I meant, I was continually winning arguments with the tories on the forum, over austerity and the tax dodgers etc..trust you to take me out of context!
Wildman, a lot of the rank and file in the party are always fighting the tories(as I have all my life)a lot of good mps also..the trouble is, the tories won the argument over austerity(even tho its crazy) and blamed labour for the crash, which a lot of the public actually belive? the right wing press is overwhelmingly in favour of the tories.. |
|
By:
he is wrong on a few ..your right Wildman...I despise his views on the muslim problem,he fails to see the working class are fed up with it, and immigration, I also wish he would say what he really thinks about Europe.
