Childrens list is a stand out bet for me tomorrow , its last run was eyecatching to say the least. I/Field priced Billys Hope @ 7/1, if only , this is another mare that will run a huge race not sure I'll be taking the evens though .

BORE talking to himself??
|

By:
Children's list looks to have an outstanding chance indeed.
Step up in trip should do the trick. |

De Name Escapes me 14/1 2.25 ew 5 places
The stats are against my fancy in the big race as the past 12 winners have carried less than 10-10 and while all the early money seems to be for Shay Barrys After Rain, i think De Name Escapes Me has a much better chance for Martinstown, carrying 10-13.I m surprised Geraghty hasn t chosen him.Maybe they decided to leave Mark Walsh on board as he is 2 from 2 on Noel Meades charge ??. I have really liked him since he bolted up in a clonmel bumper for Liz Lawlor. If i remember correctly while he was a 20/1 shot he wasnt unbacked as he opened 50 s . Won his maiden hurdle up north at Down Royal and then hosed up in a novice hurdle for horses rated upto 123 at Fairyhouse.I think if they didnt go to Fairyhouse and got in here off 123 instead of his new mark of 132 he would be a handicap snip !! Still think he is well handicapped and Noel Meade has described him as a horse he really likes that has plenty of " boot " and loves soft ground. 14/1 he won t be far away with a bit of luck in running |

I have backed Childrens List @ 6 and 5.7 just hope Ruby has it in a position to attack turning in .

Couple for an interest today...
12-50 Verona Opera w/p 1.20 Delegate w/o Fav 1.50 Childrens List 2.25 Kalkir w/p 3.00 Cause of Causes w/p (though probably not today!) GL with yours! |

By:
Have ended up laying Billys Hope, think she'll run a cracker but theres a few in there with a chance so worth a lay at the price.Off to Leopardstown, good luck all punters..
|
|
By:
1.20 - Our Duke
1.50 - Gallant Oscar 2.25 - Bentelimar ew 3.00 - Killer Crow 3.30 - Walk To Freedom Good luck anyone playing today. |
|
By:
Bentelimar in the 2.25 could outrun its price may have a bit of CLASS in this field and THINK the 2m trip will suit better than 2 1/2 that has been generally running over,but the race is usually I bit of a lottery with getting a run/position etc;
|
|
By:
Jessie to win the first two races imo.
|
|
By:
DAVY RUSSELL WAS SUPERB THERE THOUGHT AFTER VERY BIG JUMP AT LAST CHANCE HAD GONE
|
|
By:
Delegate is 11-8 on sportsbook for a place. For anyone that can get on, that is a cracking price. The 11-10 in Hills is also v big IMO.
There will be very few in this that would get within a country mile of the top two, and even less that will want to. Delegate will run its race and have nothing to hide. That will beat the rest comfortably. |
|
By:
Colla Pier in the 2:25 worth an e/w bet at 16/1sadly ive missed the bigger prices, she's an improving mare and runs off a very low weight,

Well done CR.
Didn't Easygold/Roger put up the runner up as their horse to follow for the year. NA was unlucky not to get his Jessie H double up. You would have to wonder if Puppy watched her win at Punchestown or even spoke to Jessie about her. Why kick for home half a mile from home on a mare that doesn't do a lot in front as the quote below suggests. After race at Punchestown Sun, 15th Nov, 2015 (1st) It's great she's won as she was just beaten the last day. She's a beautifully bred filly. She may pull out again for the mares listed bumper at Navan although it might come a bit too quick. She loves that ground, that's what she needs. She won well and was doing nothing in front. |
|
By:
hard luck WR, good ground would suit better imho

Let's just say D O'R didn't look totally devastated as Ruby sailed by him (again)...
|
|
By:
One of the best rides I've EVER seen ,simply incredible that he got that back up .
|
|
By:
A great ride no doubt, but the real hero is the horse itself, incredible guts and resolve as well as undoubted class,
He'd be a player in the GC if they decided to do a "Conygree" |
|
By:
I would be surpriced if they go for the Gold Cup C.R,.. THE J.L.T looks like the way to go with K.V, Agree with you about the horse , i wonder what price he went when he made that mistake.

|
By:
Me too frank, don't think there's much chance of that given how mob handed his connections are in it, but he'd be an intriguing runner, but to be fair to the horse he doesn't lack speed! So I'd agree with you re them going the JLT route, wonderful horse, love to see a horse win in such circumstances, it was almost Kauto-esque when he fell at the last in Exeter and ruby re mounted just to be narrowly denied.

Well done chelt in a fair run

^^^ Tremenjus thread in just about every way, covered all of the bases.
Wonder what they'll do with Our Duke, could be very dangerous coming into that Grade 2 at Easter if they skip the Deloitte/Cheltenham on experience grounds. Think I remember Keen Leader saying that Pylonthepressure wasn't that well thought of last season pre Cheltenham. CR & Mincer nalied this one along with DJ's McManus stat. |
