Conditions set fair again by the looks of forecast, maybe a bit of wind on Friday, so pitch and putt contest again as this one of the shortest courses on the rota. Gone for couple of guys who have shown early season form as against course form and with nowhere near the strength in depth this week compared to last weeks top field, hopefully get a run of sorts from these two:
28's B Snedeker 90's P Harrington Like Russell Henley as a player, but bit skinny at 40's at present, may dabble if nearer 50's before off time. GL. |

Only backing one golfer this week, agree with everything that callit after saying about Walker,he really looks a cracking e/w bet 6 places @16/1,couldnt have any of the other golfers at the top of the betting, gong to leave Europe this week, looks a terrible field, have the feeling anybody could win the event, next week going to be a cracking event in Europe,
Selection Jimmy Walker e/w 16/1 6 places, |

Walker looks the standout bet in hawaii and will keep faith with zach johnson again this week
Agree with lapsy Bezuidenhout is overpriced at 55/1 and coetzee aswell at 30/1 |

Sony Open
Not a fan of this event tbh. especially if conditions remain calm like expected. Adam Scott @ 25/1 is my only selection. Looked back to his best just before Christmas and is the leading Par 70 player in field. |

3pts Chris Kirk 7-5 5.30pm 3 ball
3pts Charles Howell Top 20 Finish 11-5 |

Snedeker best backed on here, into Around 20's now.
Fancy Sean O'Hair to BT Wagner and Barnes. Had a good 2015 after being in the doldrums, Wagner had a good Autumn but like Barnes is erratic and hard to predict. If Padraig drives it as straight as last week should despatch of Villegas, who admittedly can throw in a low round from time to time and Seung Yul Noh who hopefully is ring rusty. 13/8 Sean O'Hair to BT Wagner/Barnes. 5.20 pm 5/4 Padraig Harrington to BT Villegas/Yul Noh Double. |

By:
3pts Charles Howell 6-4 11.00pm 3ball

By:
1.5pts Francesco Molinari 5.10pm 3 ball 2-1

Backed Lingmerth @ 80/1 and Finau @ 60/1 last night , had £10 on each for a interest , no real interest in the golf atm , and this is on very late anyway...

Shocking hours for viewing. Can't even record it, coz on the red button mostly. Of what I seen last night Dufners game seems to be coming together. I feel he will be worth persevering with at big prices in the coming weeks.

I thought he was going to be really big a few years ago , then marraige seemed to get in the way , maybe he has finally settled into his new lifestyle and its starting to show in his game ,btw always enjoy your golf write ups.

Just catching up on this , Snedeker already in clubhouse after 2nd round at 12 under . Still an hour until there is TV coverage . As someone has said already , its pretty unfriendly viewing hours .

3pts Jason Dufner 9.35pm 3 ball 11-8
Was tempted to back Snedeker in his 3 ball also. I would make him a shade of fav. 3.2 outsider on here is big. But I will b happy enough if he beats his two opponents tonight, as it would probably leave him in the 54 hole lead. Very disappointing back 9 from Palmer last night. He looked like he might threaten the lead through 9. |

By:
Padraig 7/4 to despatch of Striker and Grillo.

Interesting night ahead. Pity it's on so late!! Me being asleep or too hammered to see it are both shorter prices than me watching it live!!
With Sned tied lead, Howell in control of his destiny top 20 wise, and Dufner, Molinari and Palmer in with some sort of chances for places.....it could b a very good, or very disappointing leaderboard check in the morning!! Hesitated backing Dufner in his ball again, as already need a good one to clinch a top 5. But at 11-8 he does seem the standout bet tonight, so I indulged. 3pts Jason Dufner 22.10 3 ball 11-8. |
