12.50 Tocororo looks as if she can win this after her recent run in very competitive race @ Leop were she ran on well late to take 4th.
1.20 Myztique is due a win and is very consistant at this level , sure to stay the trip and with Barry aboard I cansee them making this a stiff test for the Byrnes mare, who looks as if she will also enjoy the step up in trip , Myztiques experience over timber tipping the scales in her favour ..
2.30 BND has been costly for me, I thought this lad was going to go right to the top , he has proved a long way from that , tomorrow offers him a real chance of getting back to winning ways though. Several of these are capable of winning this, BND has the assistance of young Kenneddy claim to help .
2.50. McKinley is not everyones cup of tea, but he is well worth a bet here , he keeps a little back for himself no doubt of it, but on his day and with a run under his belt is worth the Nap.Alisier was a very good horse a while back and I'd expect him to give the selection most to do...

Two E/W shots for me today.

Another Challenge @ 14/1 will love the ground and drop in trip should suit. It is not a great race and this 3 time heavy ground winner has to be respected. I can see his price shortening.

The Dan Moore is a trickey race but I like the consistant Days Hotel @ 10/1. Only two times out of the prizemoney from 18 runs over fences. Two solid runs over this season in Graded races and 10lb lower than his best winning mark. He is 11 years old but I think this race has been mapped out for him. I rate Mozoltov a big danger if he jumps soundly.
Report gutfeeling January 10, 2016 11:55 AM GMT
2.20 Fairyhouse - Guitar Pete EW 10/1
Dual Grade 1 winner over hurdles who hasn't done much wrong so far over fences, Think he's been running over trips a touch too far for him but this would have given him more time in his races to get organized & learn to jump at a racing pace. Has no weight here and can't see the trip being anything but a positive for him given at 2m /2m1f his record is 10 runs 5 wins 3 places although the ground could be a concern as he does seem best on top of the ground. Nina a interesting booking as it the application of a tongue tie.

3.20 Faityhouse - Marlbrook Win 3/1
Chequered career so far but does possess ability and will have no problems with the going. Jumped well enough lto but ran into one in Noble Endeavour who also had the benefit of a 5lb claimer riding. A good round of jumping would be ample enough to win this contest.

Never Enough Time in the 2.50 also worth a small ew punt.

GL to anyone playing today.

Starting to look a bit like that CR,still ran a decent races after a few sloppy jumps. Form on heavy but think better ground suits myself, can't figure why the more often than not hold up tactics as think he is better near the front.
Probably the Eider again next.

Rather be backing the Byrnes horse at 7.8 & Concience looked well enough although you'd be guessing about how it goes on the ground, 220 on here for buttons could be a quick trade.

Report TellTheKing January 10, 2016 1:42 PM GMT
Simples. Elliot's mare looked opposable at the price and Byrnes mare had a far harder race than Crawford's in winning their bumper (plus an extra week off since). I was also aware that she is well able to jump (and indeed her jumping was fluent during the race). Couldn't have had anything else in the race. As it happens the drift helped as it allowed me to cover most of the win stake with a place bet.

As for the yard form don't see that as a concern. A small sample but everything they've ran that returned under 20/1 in the past fortnight has performed respectively and December was a good month for them from what I recall.

Easy I think you grossly overestimate the effect of what is said on here. I am sorry that say that neither I nor you have the power to move markets based on forum comments. I would say approximately .5% at the most of the bettors in that race read the forum for a start.

Was it not you that said there's nothing wrong with backing each way in 15 runner handicaps when you can't see them out of the frame? Logically the same would apply even more so in a maiden hurdle where the majority are dead before the race starts. The market moved in the opposite direction to what I expected and I reacted accordingly. I'm sure an expert such as yourself has encountered similar scenarios previously.

If Ceylon had won you would be the first to point to your mention of her at 13.06.

I notice you didn't address my mention of aftertiming...I wonder why??

The vast majority of threads that you start are ones criticizing jockeys when a race hasn't panned out the way you thought it should or worse still falling back to the old red herring of accusations of underhand activity. You should remember that as often as you will be the victim of poor jockeyship you will be the beneficiary of it when you back a winner when other jockeys in the race mess up.It is a common trait so you shouldn't worry about it too much but most successful punters recognise that over a lifetime of punting these things even out.

I have no doubt but that you put in the work and very possibly are a winning punter but your posts here are littered with inconsistencies whereby you criticize punters for doing something yet its something you have done yourself.

Your constant aftertiming when you claim you have got it right is grating.Equally your anger with a loser is palpable.

However what I find most irritating is your presumption that only your analysis is correct as is your belittling(normally post race) of alternative views. You should remember you don't have a monopoly on how to make profit.

I don`t worry about riders whatsoever, but if I see poor horsemanship from an experienced pilot I have commented for sure... so what???. Punters are not tolerated by riders and trainers,owners... Ask Ruby (I ride for the owner????)....... You can`t say anything about riders, they all cry away........ Fran Berry and Richard Hughes where the biggest babies..... along with Mr Paddy "I`m a champion jockey" Brennan. and I know better than you Mr G.Lee..... But no problem for Mark "pork pies Johnston to talk about poor horsemansip about French Riders I wonder why????????

Evening gents, I pop out for acouple of hours ,and mayhem breaks out . Missed the 13/8 in the first but was happy to take the 6/4 , a genuine mare imo, in the 2nd again missed the best price , there was a little 6/4 I took 11/8 , Barry held on as long as he could before sending her to the front and she ran on really well , she missed out the first in the back straight and dopped off them a little , and I was a little worried tbh but alls well that ends well, and you've guessed it I missed the best price on McKinley as well. He is a horse I wouldn't be rushing to back again, he was like a greyhound waiting in front, Cooper did well to coax him him home. A good day overall...
Report TellTheKing January 10, 2016 5:43 PM GMT
Pa she's had two looks over hurdles and she probably didn't step up much from bumper form in either. Didn't think she was the type to improve with racing either after I saw her in Limerick. In fairness she tougher it out very well today. I would normally stay away from Northern English form when returning to Ireland but Crawford's looked made to me for today's test. I also know that she was expected to give it a far better rattle (though this didn't really impact my thinking as I wanted to be with her in any event).

Well done on your winners WR.
Report Tolmi January 10, 2016 5:52 PM GMT
Don't think it's quite mayhem workrider!

Congratulations on your good day.For what it's worth I thought Swamp Fire's maiden first time out over hurdles was a terrible race and I couldn't believe it started so short.Interestingly a feature of these 4 year old maidens is that the O Brien runners seem to bely market weakness to run very well on their debuts.
However I called the second race wrong.I thought Mystique was plenty short against a few credible opponents even if the Byrnes horse was noticeably weak in the market.
The handicap hurdle was a poor race but the winter could go in again depending on his rise.Nearly Namad was probably an improver against some badly exposed types and I don't think Mc Kinley is up to much.

That Workrider gets away with murder,he puts up his thoughts the night before and sticks up Bright New Dawn which got beaten, how many Yankees did that horse wreck.

I know he put up three odds against winners, average each at 6/4 but we must concentrate on the one beast that lost.

No booms so you know there is a Pa Lapsy winner somewhere.
Shannak was the winner and it showed the two sides to Pa Lapsy, his ability to unearth winners and his reading of the market,he spotted the price rick, told us all 3/1 was way to big.
My first reaction was wouldn't touch 3/1 about a Tony Mullins trained horse ( debatable) but once again horse being backed off boards wins handicap.
