I am sure the moderators must be thinking of closing this Irish Forum down, as it has seriously gone downhill fast over the last year! A lot of childish bickering, it really is a pity as it was a very enjoyable and interesting.
Should we have a vote on it ?
To close or not to close ?

Sorry that the recent content has not met with your expectations.

I am presently recharging my batteries in Barbados and will address your concerns upon my return.

Here we go again.
A poster who wants to be entertained but makes no contribution himself stamps his foot saying I'm not enjoying it enough close it down.

MrTopNotch make a contribution, create a thread, tell us how passionate and compassionate you are
You have created a thread, its a childish whinge with a childish hissy fit.

Please do not close it down,it is best to have all the nutters in one place rather than risking them polluting other fora.

Also I have a soft spot for Borneo and Wonky and it would be cruel to deprive them of their playground.

The Breeding Forum disappeared from the Horse racing today.
Perhaps the Irish forum is next.  Not part of the mainland.

WMFB you are 100% correct, I look on this forum as entertainment and nothing else Grin
The Irish Sports forum used to be very entertaining and informative in my opinion.
It has really gone down hill in the last year. I like to read it and am not one for much posting, if that is allowed (not sure of the rules?)

The Horse racing Antepost forum and Cheltenham 2016 are an excellent example of quality, informative threads/discussion and excellent viewing in my opinion.

Maybe hopefully this year the Irish Sports Forum will make a comeback, with a bit of luck. There are still some excellent posters on here especially when it comes to Horse racing, I even value your opinion, but most of all respect all opinions on Horse racing Love

They are all fair points.

I love the racing threads too and its perfectly fair for some just to read the posts.

I'm kind of spancilled by my ignorance of computers I would have my own blog but haven't the wherewithal  to create it,similarly Im unable to comment on some of these sites that discuss these matters.

Seriously though there is a block button I know it regularly malfunctions but its the best we have.

FORUM removed

Hello,
I note that the Breeding forum has disappeared from the Betfair forum.
Previously it was in the Horse Racing area of the forum.
Why is it no longer available?
(1)  planned removal?
(2)  accidental removal?
Best regards
(kincsem on Betfair forum)

Hi,
Thanks for getting in touch. This was a planned removal with the view that the more general topics provide ample opportunity to post, with regards to Horse Racing.
Apologies if this has caused you any inconvenience.
Regards
TSE Global

With about two hundred new threads in Horse Racing  on a busy day any serious discussion thread rapidly disappears. Sad
The drive for the mug money continues - FBOTs gambling, virtual horse racing, casino games, quick pick.

Never used the breeding forum so cannot comment on it but the casino/games/arcade/bingo seem to have a dozen or so replies for a calender year, surely in terms of use these were the natural "dead wood" and at least should be just lumped together,as an aside great to see them so quiet and sincerely hope it is lack of use rather than embarressment.

Might aswell shut it down another thread pulled when longtime poster asked for advice on what tipping service to subscribe to

No, it should be brought on the road with the general public exposed more to it. The best forum on the internet.

Point I was making is that this place seems to have a bit of everything these days. Reading mainly the Racing threads, they're very good with  a real cut and thrust to them.

See the Orish Forum is next for the chop after 'Motor Sports'. We're down below 'Boxing' & 'Mixed Martial Arts' in the ranking order.
