Certainly the latter part of the thread heading but Yorkhill certainly looks the part, although a maiden it was done very impressively and 2nd and 3rd have franked the form to an extent.Other than Welsh Shadow's listed win rest of the field are also way up in grade.
Surprised if Yorkhill doesn't do it.
Very "hilly" looking treble there OLC,Grin

Backed Yorkhill myself last night at 1.77. Plenty shorter now, but would expect that momentum to continue and go off about 1.5. Expect a routine victory.

On another field, Liverpool look shocking short at 1.99 away to West Ham in the early KO. Laid that.

Richard Johnson rides at his minimum weight about twice a year.

The only other time he rode at 10 stone this year was to win a 100k handicap on Village Vic.

See the rock is 2 lbs out of the handicap but is still potentially very well treated on his defeat of Final Nudge at MR.

Final Nudge has subsequently won two novice hurdles and then ran a cracker when runner up in a grade 2 ,9 lengths clear of the third.

He will handle conditions,is completely unexposed and has the champion elect jockey starving himself for a couple of days to take the mount.I have had a couple of euro ew at 13/2 in a competitive race.

Surely Altior would destroy 007? I thought he was mightily impressively at Kempton and would favour him at the prices for the supreme currently. Even though it seems to be folly to be opposing  WPM who will have Min and Yorkshill/Bellshill. The shadowboxing about what Willie runs in what race and what Ruby rides is well under way. The Morgianna hurdle is annoying them now as they would have much preferred to send NC over 3 miles.

Nicky would want to lay off the brandy,it wouldn't have mattered but why allow BJG fly home and use Tinkler. Use the best available on the day is the best policy.

dj,
that007 is tinklers ride, nico de boinville is the no1 and david bass and tinkler also ride..with tinkler riding more cos bass is no 1 to ben pauling and kim bailey, Henderson has had tinkler there for years....I also agree think hendersons horse is a worthy favourite considering the ground will be different come march..but the one that runs tomorrow ? willie seems to favour him?

Well done NORN some very good profitable winners.
It makes a change from the clowns who keep putting up obvious odds on shots.

Bass and Tinkler at Henderson's, he had arthritic Mick Fitz for long enough as well. Townend must prefer WPM's number 2's as he waits for his shot at the title.

Henderson should get on to Davy Russell, Davy mentioned coin enough times at Leopardstown to make it clear he was open to offers. Bass and Tinkler, we might look back on that as the beginning of the end. De Boinville is better than the other two and improved an awful lot but you'd get the sense that he was only there in the first place because Nicky knew his father from a Toga party or something and that his rise to relative competence has been a pleasant surprised for all involved!
