Awkward for Irish viewers

Only starting to digest this news  , but if it just means you tune to ITV instead of Channel 4 I dont see much difference .  At the end of the day most viewers just want to see how their horse runs  , so main improvement would be more races as against changing presenters .

Trying to engage more viewers for what is normally a minority sport is pretty difficult , they tried the female angle and lunch time angle and it proved nothing .  Horse racing revolves around betting , hence the bookie interest , we cant get away from that . Minimising their "free" advertising would be a wish , but probably a futile hope .

We cant get ITV down here , only the Irish version which is mostly replays of shows from a few years ago...

Didn't know that workrider , seems strange .

We have UPC, nearly sure we cant ,maybe others can confirm...

Have Sky as opposed to UPC but is UTV Ireland available on UPC? They could put the racing on UTV Ireland in order to attract Irish customers given the recent takeover.
