The removal of posts has reached epidemic proportions,its also irrational.
I'm not sure whether some companies are monitoring the forum and threatening legal action,whether posters are combining to remove posts or whether the moderators are being more active.maybe they would like to explain.
Its irritating in the extreme when good discussions are destroyed by ludicrous censorship.

A fella is entitled to his say.
Understand if a derogatory remark is made against a company or a particular person,you can see that side and most would hold their hands up and say fair enough,it almost certainly wouldn't be repeated by most that post here.
I don't know what the swearing is about a person is entitled to think that way,can you disprove?
Bullin over the fellas outside the Capitol cinema,why? because they are trying to flog the good points but they surely won't be giving the bad,it is hopefully the very few gullible that get sucked in.
Is the "snow bombe" the biggest rank desert ever put on a table?
Can a windows 10 upgrade give you the "blue screen of death"
Yeah it is the good points only,most swallow and the few that say anything are shouted down.
It is a pity that it is often hard to read a thread due to removals,seen a few i thought were fairly innocous a lot of times(maybe most) but isn't fair to the poster to explain a removal rather than just removing the post, i presume if you took the time and trouble to read and remove wouldn't a better procedure be to give a post in lieu of the removed with an explaination? ie say even a basic response like this post was removed on grounds of religion,decency or whatever,could even be a list of around 8.

I've done the forum awards for some years now,its a bit of a skit and meant to be humerous.
I put this years one up at around ten last night,its gone this morning.

About 6 months ago I got a peculiar private message out of the blue.
One asking me to desist from engaging with a certain poster and this sadly was of particular importance on threads created by this individual.
He strangely then boasted about his ability to get posts removed and gave a few examples.
I was in awe of his ability of repeatedly hitting the report button.
Needless to say the control freak received a retort telling him exactly where he could go.
No reporting = Very few threads removed.
I am sure the third party company that monitors these forums operates on a shoe-string budget.
Unfortunately the sad individuals reporting are probably satisfied by threads of this ilk.

to have threads removed they must be reported unless a mod see,s fit to remove for what ever reason..i had all my posts removed on the polictics forum for days..so stoped posting..apparently now lots have had their posts deleted..im sorry to say but it only takes a scumbag to want to cause havoc and they can....

what is unusual about that thread disappearance, Borneo, is that the whole thread disappeared, its usually just the first post. The Urban Spaceman must have seized full control of the rudder.
