Very fashionable to slag ye off on this forum and while i accept most have legitimate gripes, one or two seem to have ulterior motives. Money back as a free bet if 2nd on the 3 main meeting is a a very decent concession if you are eligible. PS .Bit stingy with Elliotts horse, way out of sync with the rest, suppose ye know he blew it at the start in Dundallk.
3 Meetings are only available for those with a negative IQ,it's limited to peanuts and only available to those who are guaranteed to give it back.
The shop special at Cheltenham is also limited to a pony.
They're a bad shower,

As far as special offers are concerned, they have been consistently far ahead of any other bookmaker, in my opinion, up to around 2 years ago. I think they led the way in this regard until then.
Other bookmakers had to follow suit in order to be competitive with PP but, from my own experience, PP's offers were almost always more appealing than their competitors. It could be argued that their reason for such good offers were so that they could decimate the smaller independent firms, putting them out of business, with a view to long term gain for the company; that's business though, and understandable. Personally, I rarely had a bet with them as they usually weren't best priced on whatever I was betting on, but I did avail of their special offers. Value is everything.
Just like all the other major bookmakers in this part of the world, they discriminate between their customers on the basis of whether you are winning or losing.
Since their foundation in the 80's though, they have, i.m.o., been the most progressive bookmaker in Britain and Ireland.

I would like a market on the next financial institution that has a compulsive gambler steal millions and gives it to the bookmakers. Are these gamblers special customers?

I was told to buy some about 12 years ago when they were about 8e Distant, that is another one that got away. Thread was a bit of a p1ss take really when the firm went 13/2 on Dove Mountain Sat and everyone went 10/1, though in all honesty these offers are fair enough and while it is a good advertisement(way better money spent than the likes of gut thruster et al,jeez the cost must be huge) some at least is going back to the punter.
