English AW racing is muck, the proportionate level of corruption is unparalleled across any sport.

Anyone getting involved in it is subsidising the lack of prize money for connections.

Anyone that reckons they can make that muck pay is delusional.

Best betting medium by a mile especially when you don't have to spend hours trawling through form as most of the runners can't win,i can't even get a bet on at the moment but even some friends of mine who just bet only at swell and have full time jobs are winning ranging from 10-20k every year and that's doing it in their spare time, books are absolutely clues..

The biggest mistake they make is following ratings, ratings won't find you bets on the aw it's times that make the bets plnet of horses on the aw are winning races in slowly run races creating flase ratings,it's very simple yet these punters can't get to groips with it,so funny..

Ye are fairly adamant in regards profitable punting on the AW, being honest i'd have the same mindset as Dj, i wouldn't touch it(like Dundalk though because some seem to thrive on the surface). The main reasons why i won't be a fan is they are generally poor horses ( i get your argument that something has to win and a mediocre one will beat poor ones). With nothing winning on the rail at Lingfield, horses going up and down on the spot at Southwell and seemingly impossible to come from behind at Chelmsford it is almost like some form of "anti racing" to me.
With all the racing that is on i think specialising on a particular part whether Irish racing,British NH or AW is a good idea instead of taking on a bit much with all of it.
No name calling please, just thoughts whether right or wrong.
Report wildmanfromborneo November 11, 2015 10:54 AM GMT
Any young man who wants to punt seriously should just cover Dundalk.

The form works out to the pound,no need to worry about ground conditions, relative few horses to study.

Outsiders don't win in Dundalk, the idiot proof way of making money in Dundalk is follow the money.

That makes Credit the Giver a good thing in the 8.30 tonight.
His only danger looks to be Gun Shoot but he looks a big danger, anyone one know how he's running of 54 tonight. It looks like he got dropped 4lb for turning up lame last time. Anyway he's form over CD, won and come 3rd in his last 2 and has never been rated lower, only negative I can see is that he was lame lto so I'll oppose the fav and the money.

Good post Wildman.
You would think Credit The Giver will be ridden a lot more prominent tonight Winsam though drawn fairly wide.last couple of runs he was in an impossible position but ran on.
Like yourself going a bit against a money horse fav with Kodiacs Back(line with Gun Shoot later),obvious as he loves the place,a rise in class is a negative but draw and positive comments from Mr Marnane swings it,ew. GL.

The common denominator of the vast majority of jockeys and trainers warned off over the last decade has been a distinct concentration on the AW.

A glance through the records of these recent examples are littered with bucket and sand events.

Only the naive would believe they're racing for a lot of the time for 2k in winning prize money with an average of 800k matched on here.

I guess the winning posters on here have unique access to race times though which allows them to filter the triers.

Perhaps the Sand Kings will give us mere mortals a couple of future examples of its predictability.

I would have thought it's pretty clear DJ is referring to UK AW racing ("English AW racing is muck, the proportionate level of corruption is unparalleled across any sport").

It's the one area of this sport, above all others, where the best laid plans can regularly come unstuck due to the input of connections. You only have to look at the vermin (both in and out of the saddle) who ply their trade on this circuit. It's not to say there aren't occasional decent betting mediums but I wouldn't entertain backing in a 0-65 round Wolvers. By and large it's horrible racing to even spectate never mind become involved in.
Report Ozymandius November 11, 2015 3:53 PM GMT
No surprise some of the recently prominent Oiks ('You're a Mug','No, you're a Mug') on here associate with this garbage.

Anyway Rog, rake of the sandy stuff this evening,do you have any thoughts?(your own). The blinding bit of standout form this evening is Red Rannagh,do you think it was a flash in the pan? What do you make of the opposition?

as a predominantly flat backer , i will freely admit to looking forward to southwell cards days in advance , compare to the shiite on offer nh wise in this country at this time of the year, no comparison from a punting perspective !
