Character , and talented . I always keep a weather eye out for his .  I can understand him , years spent deciphering the accent helps though .

Just caught the end of another interview with a winning owner yesterday on ATR , older man who said he was offered the job as head man to Vincent way back before fame hit .  Anyone know anything about him ?

Jimmy Gordon was the man. Worked for Vincent in Churchtown. When offered the job in Ballydoyle his wife said to him "you fall out with him or you'll have no home to go to".

He missed some interesting times , observerirl .  Gosden was talking recently about some of his time with Vincent  , think it was a program about Lester .  The word genius surfaced a lot , about both of them .  Gosden's no back number himself , but he did sit at the masters feet for a while .

No doubt he missed some unbelievable times at Ballydoyle but struck me as the type of guy who was enjoying life especially when getting bit of limelight from ATR. The decision he made way back caused much friction no doubt but he is alive & well and fierce enthusiastic. Good luck to him.
