United very poor this year too though Oz. There points total very much flatters them. Havent seen any of the first half, so cant say whether they should be ahead or not. I had planned on laying them and City, but forgot. Happy at the moment as City have two goal lead.

Oh, brutal this season, no doubt. I despise LVG's approach.
But this opposition are awful, Utd totally in control. Played well for first 25, tempo dropped slightly after that. Still confident they will tonight. |

that was as well as I've seen them play in a long time. Gotta keep the 4-4-2 against teams they expect to beat.
Van Gaal must really rate lingaard, he reminds me a little of Freddie Ljunberg for his ability to pop up in the box, the lad have serious lung power but needs refining. |

I knew Lingaard was a good player and good finisher, had no idea he was so athletic. Great engine, not afraid to have a go. Promising.

Yep he's exactly the type needed as there are plenty of ball-players there, he's a guy that will get beyond the strikers and create havoc.
What I liked as well about him tonight was that things went a bit pear-shaped for him before and after half-time, but he never hid and kept making his runs. It can't be coincidence that the ball kept finding him. Didn't realise till recently he had that engine & physicality either, thought he'd be a slightly light-weight tricky winger. he's about 6"2 and runs like the wind. |

In future Rock, will stick to aftertiming abut how I bought at the troughs and sold at the peaks. Probably throw in a bit of insight into trading, perhaps an anecdote or two.

When I saw Ozymandius recommend his own team I said time to lump on,then I reconsidered thought Man Utd will win alright but decided to stall.
