Have ya ever met the bate of it, are ya a Cockney or what RF? "GL MATE". Is that the craic in Sligo town that ye address each other as "MATE". Funnily enough tis a word the Rat uses as well with the haha "BOOM". Are ye plastics paddies,Anglo Irish or just easily influenced? Ye should be ashamed of your lives talking like that.

Funny thing is Pa, the person who uses the term 'mate' most on here is Wonks. Even when addressing me! And we know irony is beyond him!

Look pa?This is a proper racing thread, there is no need to be acting the gouger. If you have no constructive analysis of the race to contribute,I suggest you keep schtum.
Cheers pa. Trainer Joseph Tuite believes the decision to subsequently sidestep the Prix du Cadran at Longchamp could bear fruit. "It will be beautiful ground, I spoke to the clerk earlier in the week and he predicted good to soft which is perfect," said Tuite. "The easy side of good is perfect for us, it would have been no good running him in France, it was genuine fast ground. It's a good race, it's a Group Two, there are no easy Group Twos, but he'll run well. "The French race was over two and a half miles and while I wasn't worried about him getting him, coming back to two miles for this obviously takes that question mark out of the equation. "He's in great form." |

Every other racing thread was "proper" as well.
You must get on very well with Rocket, is he yer "mate"? |

We needed the binoculars to attempt to find the cicinatti kid's tailed off favourite last week - The Panda Bear, more than likely a telescope will be required to find this injury prone 7 yo gelding who has managed just 8 career runs.
He was in receipt of weight from almost the entire field in the Ebor and was flattered by the suicidal pace set by Donncha O' Brien. More likely to bounce than reproduce his Ebor run and even if he does, it won't be good enough. Place lay. |

By:
Not a bad time to stick up your picture of the "Bird O' Donnell, "Rat".

By:
Great to see your light on "Rocket",the original "Bird O' Donnell" and still the best imo.

I would be inclined to give Forgotten Rules the benefit of the doubt for a few on paper below performances.
He travelled like much the best horse in the GC, but would let himself down on the fast terrain when push came to shove. DKWs excuse for his next effort was valid. He did back him up very soon after a big effort. He really should have finished closer to Agent Murphy in the Leger, but was asked to race form a long way out, off a strong gallop. The winner got a peach of a ride off JPOB, and though FR would not have got anywhere near him he may have forsaken second by trying to win from so far out. The ground wont be as soft as he would ideally like, but there is still plenty of juice on the round course. He still looks the best horse in the race. |

I imagine Segal has put up Litigant.
Segal and Rat on the same beast. It may stay at home. |

What's going on gents? Somebody give a soother to pa.
I have ruled the bounce out with this one.The fast pace in the Ebor proves its very good.It gave wicklow Brave 4lbs and beat it all ends up in the Ebor.I actually think it is better over 2m.I am betting it is good enough. |
