Best of luck to both our national teams who happen to be playing one after another tonight. Would be great if both sides can do it, c'mon Ireland.

Magnificent tbf...I don't what it is but I get more nervous watching Ireland play rugby than in any other sport....i'm in

danger of slowly drifting towards alcoholism the longer we stay in the tournament..Crazy

Even though i cannot abide the Irish rugby team, you cannot but acknowledge that they were very good today. Maybe France were poor but they snuffed them out quite easily.
They may well fall short in this tournament but if they get in front in any particular game, id hate to be on the crowd trying to catch them.

Great performance yesterday in the rugby , France never looked like scoring apart from with the boot . They will be easy meat for the All-Blacks .

Pity about the injury toll for Ireland , but increasingly thats to be expected in what people now term a "collision" game rather than a contact sport . O'Brien and Henshaw put it up to the French , Earls , Bowe and Kearney ( Rob) looked like they could score given field position .

Argentina wont be easy meat though , but they have a relatively basic game which Ireland should be able to combat . Roll on the next game .

Playing Poland at soccer in Warsaw is a big ask , only saw bits of it , Martin O'Neill highlighted the danger man before the match , and the Bayern striker was the difference at the end .

Nothing basic about this Argentinian team's game.  Past Argentinian teams, yes, but this team is multi faceted and score a lot of tries out wide.  It has been said that they play rugby the way France used to play rugby.

They recently beat South Africa in South Africa and have arguably played the best rugby of the tournament so far.  We will need to be as up for it as we were against France to compete with them.

yeah the Argies are no mugs.

but what I want to know, has there ever been a worse central mid field player than Glenn Whelan that has played for Ireland?
