Which bookie has that bet Rock?  They  normally bet in handicaps to 1/2 pts because of the draw Possibility .

Well that is exactly what the Australia side of the bet is Frank :) (-7.5) Spoils have the bet, most books do tend to price it with the draw though.

I agree strongly. Wales are there to be destroyed. They have an awful record against Aus and their scrum is brutal. This was also my bet of the world cup.

yeah,I am definitely having a bit of this action.I was impressed with the Aussies. They dispatched England with a professional, disciplined ruthless efficiency in the cauldron of Twickenham. They have the basics up front down cold and a very creative back line.

Think they should cover the handicap myself. They look very good and probably the form team at present. On a different not i don't think the all blacks will win it. If we can beat france could see france beating them.

7 looks very tempting..but them odds compilers specially at rugby are usually on or very close to the money in handicaps

Would 4/5 ht/ft be a better bet than the -7 at evens? Genuine question, maybe obviously as it is shorter odds, but given the Aussies are 4/7 to lead at h/t twould be hard to see them losing if ahead then. Think i prefer it though on the basis of last match the two results nearly ought to come up.

I agree the odds compilers are good. Done an acca Nambia +13 Urugauy +35 Romania +2. Waiting on Auz -7 and Scotland -10. Think scotland are a very good bet -10.

I think South Afica are getting there act together , they looked ruthless beating USA by 60pts, Hard to believe The USA were the 1st team to win the gold medal in the  Olympics when rugby  was allowed, ITS BEEN DOWN HILL EVER SINCE.Crazy I backed the Aussies -7.5pts to beat Wales 2.02 here..

Australia have been very impressive, and look the team to beat as it stands. Will prob back them HT/FT against Welsh side flattered by the England result.

Think the best bet at weekend though is ourselves to beat France. Took the 1.85 as I think we will be very well backed in the hours before it. Prob go off 1.75/6.

Just looked up the history of rugby in the  Olympics, back in 1924 there where only 3 Countries took part no wonder the U.S won the gold medal.

Pa why don't you have a go at Aussie's +12.5 sure that must look an even better bet to you at 1.05 on here?

I know you aren't the brightest(and a bit of an attention seeker to stick another thread up rather than use the existing one) RF,it was obvious given the near proximity in prices which was the better way to go,think it was answered anyway though not a hope from yourself.

Rocketfingers doesn't bet,doesn't understand betting.
His " max bet territory " is naturally a non existent bet

This is the same gentleman who didnt understand what 10/11 your pick meant, who couldn't understand how you could have a draw with a team getting a 2 point start.

I,m a soft touch but we will get the building blocks out again for him.
Tis just the one line you have to concentrate on Rocket.

If ht/ft and the 7.5 handicap were the same price which would ya prefer?

We will try and go from here.

You see Pa a bad gambler looks at bets, thinks what bet is there the least chance of losing my money a good gambler looks what offers me the best value and wins me the most money. I am not saying i am the latter but i do bet to win rather than bet not to lose like you.

If Wales can win this....and sorry for the lads with money on OZ....but that would mean...Ireland's path to the final would be France, Argentina and Wales.

A man could begin to dream!

Pa never booms,no normal punter booms.

There are four boomers on here, three of them boom because whats rare is wonderful, these are the same three Pa put to sleep in the challenge.

The fourth Esiason is Snap who Is a skitter and one who I never know when to take seriously.
