England a banker? Never in a month of Sundays.
They may win, but Australia match up very well against them, as I have detailed elsewhere. |

DONT THINK THE PRESS COVERED GAME WELL WALES DESERVED WIN BUT THINK THE DECISIONS OF ENG CHANGING SO MANY IN SECOND HALF DIDNT HELP AND IT WAS SILLY NOT TAKING THE TOUGH KICK AND WALES ARE ALSO A VERY GOOD RUGBY SIDE BUT CANT SEE ENG LOSING

Clontibret to beat Monaghan Harps.
The early 5/6 with Spoils was a very big price but 8/11 is ok if the Harps play the same rubbish they did last week. Clontibret had 3 tough battles with Ballybay who let the form down last week, but they know how to win these games while the Harps are trying to get to their first final since 1991. It is hard to describe how bad they were last week and the most overrated footballer in the county Neil McAdam was atrocious. They will need to improve a huge amount on that dismal effort and although league placings say they can win this, championship is a different matter. |

I will try something on clontibret dv.
I could be way off the mark, and I am due some luck on the footie after the turkey sickener, but Exeter at 5/6 draw no bet looks a really sweet bet. terry butcher has lost the dressing room at Newport and I am told this game could be his last as the board and players all want rid of him and Osman. Exeter beat Portsmouth during the week at fratton park, and away to Newport looks a lesser task. |

THE last couple of posts is what i love about gambling, from the richest race in europe to the lower leagues in england , My bet of the weekend is England to beat the Aussies ,1.91 here, i may well do the double on Clontibret and england, Not sure K.L which bookie has the Exeter bet,.. p.s Exeter ground is also called St James park.

Thomas Edison 3.45 Tipp. 6-4.
I know there is always a risk attached to wading into one form this yard, as a lot of the time the formbook doesn't dictate the winner when he has two fancied ones. But after TH's terrific showing in the Galway Hurdle (I still think he would have won.....and I backed Quick Jack), I think the time has come to stop the fuc**ing around with this horse. No rated 150, its certainly not hard to see him find another 10lb over the coming months. I think he will end up in the Champion Hurdle, and may finish top 4 given a decent pace to aim at. Thousand Stars will surely put the pace to the race tomorrow, and I think TH will win hard held. He certainly had Ted Veales measure at Galway, and its hard to see that one eke out any more improvement. TS is surely on the wane, and though he may get the run of the race it will hardly see him home in front. Hard to see the rest winning. He's as bent as a loungeboy working in The George, but if Martin plays this one straight(and no reason not to IMO), TH will do the business. |

Very funny Callit , Ozy would know the lad you're talking about I'd say... |

I thought Habesh had a lovely first run for Noel Meade @ Navan. He was left with a lot to do there and will probably strip fitter for the run also. Was a decent juvenile hurdler a few years ago and has fallen down the handicap to a nice mark, he should go well @ 11/1 in the 4.45 if he runs. He is first reserve but there is 2 non runners already.
