very hard to pick a winner here.

The toss of a coin really.

Think the weather on the day could be key.

Kerry are a much better team defensively, but havent played for a month and had a relatively easy run to the finals.

Think that Dublin will have come on in leaps and bounds since those 2 games V Mayo

Really does look a toss of a coin job. Which would make Kerry nearly a bet at current prices.

Hopefully a cracker is in store, something akin to the semi final two years ago would do!!

True Kerry have had a relatively easy passage of late, but they did have two tough games against Cork. Dublin on the other hand, didn't have a match until they came up against Mayo. The first game seemed to have brought them on somewhat, but two tough games in the space of 6 days not long before the final, may not be ideal.

Conditions will certainly play a part, but I think both teams would prefer bright and dry. Two excellent footballing teams, so lets hope the rains stay away.

Dublins bench, and Mayos lack of know how/bottle when in a winning position, secured the semi. Kerrys bench matches up very well, and they certainly wont struggle to close out from 4 up.

Gun to my head, I would take Kerry.

Still fancy Kerry , but it could be a very tight game .  Agree that weather might play a big part , dont think it is a great forecast for this week .

Kerry have more capacity to change their game approach if needs be .  Mayo exposed flaws in Dubs game , but threw away their momentum ( in both matches ) to lose games where they were in the driving seat .

Dubs have a lot of athletic players , they overwhelm most teams in that respect , it will be interesting to see how they deal with guys who are maybe better footballers and not afraid to win .

Looking forward to a classic , just hope we get a dry day where skill triumphs . Enjoy !

Dublin by at least 6 points. Kerry are an over the hill aged team.

I cannot call this, the athleticism, pace and skill of the Dubs against the control, guile and ability to kick points of the Kerry lads. I cannot call this. sit back and enjoy at the prices. Kerry probably the value as its a 50/50 but not enough to get involved.

Question for everyone.

If the weather is really bad with lots of wind and rain  then which team would be more likely to handle that better.

Dublins fast game is really more suited to having a dry day. Kerry are more flexible and can defend better in slower conditions

Very difficult for any team to pass accurately and at attack at speed when you cant hold the ball.

best to wait and keep the powder dry until the day of the game

The weather is key, so keep that in mind for the pts total , overs/ unders etc

leaning towards Dublin myself. think they have more character than Kerry, could be the difference between 2 teams full of talent.

The Dubs are a good bet for me [1.84 here] the best of them haven,t been seen yet,   i cant understand why the GAA dont have 2Refs one in each half for the big games, what goes on off the ball is unreal, it would make for a better game overall.

also why not have a TMO Television match official that they have in Rugby

Sure they aren't even using the technology they do have.

At least one very very close call in the hurling final was let go without using Hawkeye.

Lets hope their is no controversial calls on Sunday. The refs are in a tough position, they being watched like hawks. Maybe, akin to tennis, each team could have a certain number of challenges, which would take the ref out of it a bit. The player who strikes the shot is always the one in best position to see whether it hits the target or not.

I only went to one game in Croke Park this year, and most of Kildare's efforts on goal were not close enough to trouble Hawkeye, but the replays and Yes/No seem to generate a bit of atmosphere in the stadium also. Not that there will any lack of that on Sunday!!

I would much rather Kerrys character Freddie. Dublin shat themselves in the first game against Mayo. They will be the ones under more pressure.

At present the Dubs are a grade above.  Too easy for them.  Only thing that is going Kerry's way is that they are only 4 behind.  Could be 8 behind

What a terrible terrible game, an embarrassment to the Irish nation. Their flagship sporting day was a crock of absolute shiite.
Stupid rules and a display of absolute imbecilic decision making by both the Kerry management and by a good few of their players.
I couldnt wait for it to end, it was almost as bad as soccer.

Terrible game, once again brutal reffing. Best team won but some knacks on that team.
Philly McMahon should get a year for the eye gouging but after has all the sh1t that has gone on all year, it probably won't even be mentioned.

Well frank, whoever you support and ultimately i couldnt give 2 fukks who won, nobody could say it wasnt anything but a crock of horses pisss. I suppose in the year 2015 a roof would be too much to ask, particularly when part of the dive allows people to stand and isnt even covered.

IT WASN'T GREAT MINCER THAT'S TRUE, but i had handsome bet on the Dublin, also backed Japan to beat south Africa in running yesterday ;so a grand betting weekend overall, the heavy rain didn't help but i thought the dublin backs were brillant. THE PUMAS beating the all blacks at the moment

Its difficult to know who was good or bad, the few things i gleaned from it was Caffrey for Dublin is an admirable player. Very athletic, but a very clean player who you just know is not a thug like some of his comrades. And on the Kerry side, today proved what i always thought and that is that Fitzmaurice hasnt just got a big thick head, he is a thick fukker to go with it. A classic case of you can judge a book by the cover, but even he was outdone in the stupid stakes by David Moran, who gave a real exhibition.

spot on there mincer. Never bought all the media talk about how cute Fitzmaurice was.

gotta be up there as one of the worst All-Ireland performances by a Kerry team.

fair play to Dublin though, they have great character about them in addition to skill.

delighted for the dubs. kerry should have lost to cork twice and maybe tyrone. glad the best team in the country for the last 5/6 years have won it in the end. would have been scratching my head had that kerry team won it back to back.

The Jacks Are Back !Love

Who said the dubs couldn't play in the rain,eh?Laugh
The dubs were by far the better team and really should have had the game dead with 10 mins to go.They completely snuffed out the kerry threat up front.
Fitz is going to get alot of stick back in kerry, some of his decisions were baffling.Moran and Donoghue taken off?Donaghy and Sheen not on early enough?Cooper tracking back to his full back line?I could go on.Fitz got every thing wrong yesterday. There will be a sizeable thought in kerry to have him replaced with Jack O'Connor.

Yeah he was totally dismissive of Dublin equating them to a wide-margin winner of a bad maiden hurdle, they'd All-Irelands won and very never ever that. Kerry have plenty coming through and will be fine. Wasn't a great advert for the game yesterday but I found it interesting in its own way.

The biggest mistake Fitzmaurice made was his obsession of "how do you stop dublin".thats only part of the equation. The emphasis should be always on what his own team are going to do,especially up front and to play to their strengths, get the opposition to react and make changes.imo his dicking around of experient top class players like Cooper and Donaghy is counter productive and if he stays,he is on the verge of losing the dressing room and then its curtains.
