Lucky knickers .  Dont forget this was in England , have seen horses murdered and not getting the race .

Colm O'Donoghue fairly earned his riding fee .

100% COD was excellent in the Stewards,I think it was the right call,He was interfered with twice and cost him momentum and was only beat a head,It's just the inconsistency of these enquiries that písses everyone off.

In Ireland I would have figured it 50/50 in the enquiry .  In England I thought the 1.2 or so was easy money , didn't participate , seldom do in enquiries except to cover situations . I had no win bet in the Leger by the way .

Watching it live, thought BB had no chance of getting it but the first interference was a lot worse than originally looked. Colm was entitled to hold his racing line and hold the filly in, Atzzeni just barged his way out.

Is there any British sports presenter capable of being impartial. Nick Luck was nearly crying for Beckett there and the BBC's treatment of the recent drugs debacle in athletics during the WC is hypocritical, biased and lacks any credibility.

I gave up on the British stewards the day they scrubbed a clear winner for "intimidation" .  Cost me a grand that day too ( FPP vs official ) .

Stewards at Leop .  Golden Horn should be scrubbed for interfering with another horse , but probably wont , and Found was not good enough to win , would be very lucky to get race therefore . Anomalies in rules , no matter what they decide .

If Free Eagle had been second it would definitely have got the race  .  Unfortunately the lesson is , if you interfere with some other horse , stop it running .  The French rule would have given the race to Found , also clearly unsound as Found was clearly the 3rd best horse on the day .

To me , rules are only good as a guidance , natural justice should over rule the rules however .  Golden Horn to keep the race , but prize money between Golden and Free Eagle should be reversed as a minimum .

Jumped a shadow ?  Would have to have good evidence of that to believe that story .

Watched the Leger again on ATR , confirmed my ( unbiased) opinion that the best horse won the race .  Assuming they appeal I am confident they will get the race back .

Colm O'Donoghue rode an excellent race , he figured out who the danger was , attempted to ride herd on Atzeni , who was travelling better . COD deserves a few drinks from the owners , for his ride and his advocacy .

The distance was surely more than a head , a head is close , there was no closeness for me  as they passed the post .

Watched it again there as well, Atzeni had lots of chances earlier in the straight to come around Bondi but after his **** up yesterday on Battersea, he thought he'd barge his way through. Had to loose the race and prob should have got a longer ban only they felt sorry for him.

Golden Horn was a totally different situation, horse spooked for whatever reason and ran accross, Frankie was trying to correct him straight away. Now I know he took away whatever small  chance Free Eagle (who I'd backed) had, but if he'd stayed on a straight line he'd have won 2/3lenghts imo.

No point either side appealing, both decisions were correct and will hold up.

Totally correct decision. Atzeni was shocking yesterday on Battersea I agree with you there also
