I have not read to many people saying they wanted strangers to live in their house, i have read of people saying they would gladly live on a few bob less a week to take them into the country, maybe introduce a refugee tax on the current population of €1 euro a month, that is 4.6 million and then bingo you can take in a good number, not hard when you try thinking Wildman.

I agree with that refugee tax.

There is some site where you go on and parade your goodness by offering a room.

A family were on Newstalk this morning telling us how good they were by housing an asylum seeker from Croatia, they exhorted others to follow with the usual brand of emotionalism " as a father " was trotted out,we must be able to hold our heads high another favourite selfish line.

It later slipped out they housed him for six weeks, managed to circumvent all the rules and got him access to benefits.
They never mentioned work because you can safely assume he doesn't bother with that activity.
