Don,t honestly know, that was cringe worthy, the funny thing is pp,s betting on Ireland to qualify no 8/13,yes 5/4,don,t know what i am missing as the 1 point looks the most they will get to me in the last 2 matches.

pa, 8 third placed teams in the groups qualify for a play-off. The team with the best record of the 9 third placed teams qualify automatically. In total there will be 24 teams at the finals including hosts, France.

Thanks Reb,i knew it wasn't right. It must be the first time that criteria has ever been used, even with 6 teams(maybe much more so with the world cup) the 2nd place was more often than not just given a play off place.

If Poland beat Scotland at Hampden next month, then Ireland will finish 3rd.

Could only see us gettin a point in our last two games , a draw for scot at home to poland could well be enough for them, 5/4 is a poor price although i havent checked what teams are likely to be in the playoffs

Of course 5/4 is a poor price but 8/13 is as much as a rip off. The inverse of 5/4 should obviously mathematically be 4/5, perhaps give them a margin and allow 8/11 and they have your money for a decent period of time also.

However 8/13 and 5/4 in a 2 horse race isn't bookmaking, it's theft.

PP are the ultimate parasites and a bigger squeeze is incoming in Irish shops.
