I shall not be discussing matters of refugees and migrants etc. on here for the remainder of the month. It won't be easy but am going to try to bite my tongue.
I feel I have made my position clear at this point and there is little point rehashing the same arguments on a daily basis. There is nothing more tiresome and dull than repetition. It's also time consuming for the posters!
So you are back to one sided daily 'emotive' bulletins, I'm afraid. Kindly remember alternative opinions do exist!
Hopefully sport will return to centre stage as I am sure all this chat is not only boring but also alienating many. These are hugely important issues and worthy of discussion though many think that this is not the best place to do it. And certainly not on a daily basis.
We have the Ledger, Champions w/e, Rugby World Cup, return of The Prem, All Ireland Final, Fedex Golf Finale, Champions League and I am sure plenty more to look forward to this month.
It sounds like you are giving up, which is surprising. During the exile, your alternative view was missed and the forum lacked balance, there was widespread approval that you returned. The public way of stifling debate is to call someone racist/ homophobe etc, but this doesn't work on an anonymous forum. I hope this isn't another way of trying to stifle debate.

They don't on RTE,they don't in the Irish print media.
Current affairs are boring to many, the obvious thing for such posters is to ignore these threads. I'm demented saying they are not compulsory, there are a few new threads up this morning,I won't comment on them but I fail to see what harm they do.
This " gagging order " is typical of Ozymandius,he loves making dramatic announcements about himself. I acknowledge his computer skills, his ability to make pictures and his ability to bring up relevant articles. There is also a fairness in him that's rare, few would bring up an article making the other sides point.
Sadly he has a low attention span so the arguments become predictable,an opening position accompanied by some study followed by a complete inability to carry the argument further. This leads to frustration so he descends into name calling and always ends with some foul and abusive language.

'A day in the Life of Scouse Tony' will be published later on in the week hopefully. The forum could do with a laugh in these dark times.
