LINDSAY CHARNOCK, one of the north's leading lightweight jockeys for nearly 30 years before his retirement in 2000, died suddenly on Friday morning. He was 60. R.I.P

Like a lot of jockeys had a tough time in retirement,had alcohol problems.
He also suffered injuries during his career,one of these caused him to lose his leg. The hardship these poor men suffer make me hate the way they are persecuted. |
