The U Boat probably the deadliest seacraft of all time.
The one that sunk the Lusitania responsible for some deaths.
I think we have a challenger in the death department,the LE Niamh.
Its at the beck and call of the smugglers,its presence means smugglers can cut down on diesel costs,not bother to look for seaworthy boats,they are now using rubber dinghies.
The smugglers can now back the boats tighter as the journeys are so short.
This has directly caused the deaths of 40 ,we don't know how many indirectly that will come later.
We don't know how many of those rescued will turn out to be Jihadists but one thing we can guarantee some hideous atrocity will be committed by gentlemen who were smuggled into Italy by the LE Niamh.

Brilliant film with a cracking version of it's a long way to Tipperary in it. See the latest this morning that they have picked up another 500 just yes unbelievably only 30 miles off the coast of Libya, it is like they are almost waiting for them. Would the migrants(not economic) that have/are been taken in agree to return to their country when the conflict is over down the line? Should that be a condition before they taking in? |

Its all one way traffic in all its meaning.
All news programmes report this with gushing cooing sounds,all reporters speak of their pride in this,Sunday morning radio show guests are in unison climbing over each other in praise yet a huge amount of ordinary people see the downside,see the hypocrisy. Its the ordinary people who realise that the LE Niamh is encouraging more to come,they realise its unsustainable. Its always a dangerous situation when only one view is allowed. |

It was a very good post as it said it how it is. You have to wonder at the extent of the real humanitarism involved with some of these shouting the most,do they gain financially?
I have a lot of sympathy for the Syrians,hundreds of thousands have died in the last few years but they only make up part of the migrant numbers,it is now a free for all.The bottom line is if Ireland takes in too many the poorer indigenous lose out through housing,health and schooling,that is not being acknowledged and it is unfair. |

We are now getting the worst of both worlds.
We originally sent our ship into the Meditteranean as a fop,so as not to have to take the blighters in. We even had the good sense to clarify the status of the criminal invaders we were dumping on Italy. Now having caused the deaths of loads of migrants,having smuggled loads in we have given in to feel good pressure and are taking them in. |
