Well done indeed , magnificent from the lads .  When you think that we turn out these warriors year after year , games after games , yet we lack the most basic facilities compared to the rest of the world .  Stunning is the only word to discribe it , a big thanks must also go to the forgotten men ,the trainers, who give of their time with very little reward .

In the London Oly 2012 ireland won 4 medals; 2more then U,S,A, and the same number as Cuba a great Achievement W/R, OUR faclities have improved to be fair .but still more to do for these great men and women.

I assume every pub in the midlands will be closed for a week after this great achievement by Joe Ward.
What a stupid so called sport boxing is, one guy trying to beat the bolloxxx out of the other.
I see some thing that looked like a man is world champion in that other farcical horseshiite.
The Irish are really a pathetic bunch, and then we claim that its a great achievement because of inferior facilities.
I thought all you needed to box, was firstly taht you are thick stupid, and secondly a pair of boxing gloves.
